This video plus the instruction manual made it easy. The manual alone would never have got me there. Thank you very much. There are some other things I learned along the way: 1) 3 word limit per zone, 1st word must fit on 1st line of display or you forfeit it and if 3rd word doesn't fit entirely it also is not spoken, 2) words not listed in italics in the manual are not spoken by the keypad 3) If you name two zones the same (eg kitchen window) all but one will have the zone # appended automatically. It would be useful if they ALL had the zone appended. Why all but one? Anyway .. Thank you for this great demo.

Very helpful video. worked on the ADT Safewatch Pro Custom 3000. tried the manual with no success but this made it really easy to turn off some wireless zones I no longer needed. Also tried to trigger them to see if any fault would come up but nothing, so successful modification. Thank you!

As a home user that started without a clue about programming I have to say "thank you" for producing any information what-so-ever! Granted the guy that keeps asking stupid questions is very distracting, as well as the waving finger, (Lol) and the rather monotone voice. But regardless, I learned a lot and now I can just move to another video to advance. Thanks again.

Why are you pressing the zone number again? When you finish a zone it automatically goes to the next zone.

Help I do I delete a Zone in my Honeywell alarm pad it shows 09. This 09 showed after my attempt to add a user code. I can bypass 09 but need to remove it.

"and everything else" haha. Hard to believe a security company put this video online. "If you want to use the zone later press no". That would leave the zone in programming and show a fault. You should press yes to delete the zone, if you ever need to add it you just go back to the zone number and program it.

This leaves out a lot of information--how to configure (and why it's important) the report code, hard wire type, and response time. RC=10 HW=EL and RT=1 is adequate for most applications, maybe those advanced concept are for a different video....
