Today though I think I should offer some real thoughts for everyone. First, "believe your eyes, not the lies." I'm not the first person to say this and I won't be the last. Second, I understand, yes I actually do, that everything we thought was safe and our country would continue to move forward as a nation, that's not the case. So I say also, "God gave you two eyes, two ears, and one mouth." I'm agnostic, by the way. "Pay attention." That said, Third, in the midst of all of the horrifying executive orders, we're all terrified and rightfully so. If your not terrified than you ain't seen nothing yet. This is just the icing on the cake that is coming fast. So to help keep as sane as could be hoped for at this point, "take 1 day each week for yourself!" I don't care what day it is. That doesn't matter. And yes, it sounds selfish. Thats because it is, but, I knew your looking for it, lol. But seriously. Take a day for yourself. It's actually not selfish at all to want to keep ones sanity by unplugging for a day to be yourself and do something you enjoy doing. 1 day a week is all I suggest. Do this one thing and you will be able to see a real improvement in your overall daily life. If you don't slow down, or occasionally stop, you won't have anything left of and for yourself. I digress, take a day for yourself I not selfish at all. We all need to recharge once in a while. And on your day for yourself, again, do something you want and like to do. Doesn't matter what that something is as long as you enjoy it. I leave it to you, the reader, to decide what that something is and how to go about doing that. But please, do not check out. Sure, totally unplug for your day, if that's what you want to do. Be active on your day, but do this for yourself because you wanted to. Even if your taking care of catching up with appointments, yard work, working out, whatever it on whatever day it is, take the rest of that time and go find, if you can, an ice cream shop and have a scoop. It your day, do what you want. 1 day. That's all. It will help keep a foot hood on reality and sanity in your life in what is quickly becoming a tyrannical, fascist, dictatorship, huh huh, I said tator, seriously though, we as a nation must stand again, and yes, this means against what some are still calling a government, in order to respectfully but assertively make it clear from now on that the people truly do hold the power of this nation. Not the billionaires. Not the people in official offices that help make this happen.
