Why are your interviews mostly show the presenter and not the machine? e.g. The Slayer, mostly see the presenter and back of machines. Only a few glimpse of the front of machines. It got better later on. We are interested in what the presenters say, but more interested in the machines themselves. It's still a very informative video of the latest Espresso machines. Thank you for great work.

Thanks for that feedback. Yeah it was a lot going on and we thought we had filmed the machines, but most of the footage wasn’t great. But we have learned a lot so next year it’ll be better 😅🤞😛

Can you make a decent home espresso at home without spending hundreds on a machine? Or is it absolutely essential. Interesting. Ride safe and don't accept bad coffee 👍
@Ridethecoffeebean5 күн бұрын
You can make a decent espresso at home too, But making a really good one is hard without proper equipment. There are lots of smaller and cheaper machines that are fine for most people, but the exceptional espressos you kind of need a great maschine. And those are hard to find under 3000€ 😅
@teneretraveller89805 күн бұрын
@@Ridethecoffeebean ouch! 3000 buys me a lot of cafe ☕️!
@TheSwoon693 күн бұрын
@@teneretraveller8980 there are plenty of options that are significantly cheaper. My entry was $1000. But one of the most well known and respected machines is the Gaggia Classic and is $500. You can go even cheaper looking at manual lever options from Flair. The big problem honestly comes from the fact that you also need an exceptional grinder. The grinder is going to have a bigger overall impact to what you get in your cup, the machine should kind of be invisible and have the features you need/want.
@ericpmossКүн бұрын
IMO, a great home setup is still expensive, but << $1000, is mostly home-reparable, and will last basically forever. I use a Cafelat Robot, an electric kettle that keeps water at boiling, and a 1zPresso hand grinder. I am just as happy with it as I was with my commercial machine and grinder that was nearly 10x the price. It doesn't steam milk, but if that's ok with you, it is hard to beat.
@redchen36829 күн бұрын
10:17 ousia is very Kinu inspired from the design, the grind adjustment mechanism, and built (stainless steel). I wonder what will make them different. If they are priced the same with the Kinu Classic, I wonder what would make them standout.
@Ridethecoffeebean9 күн бұрын
According to the guy it is the metal processing, and the fact that the burrs in each grinder is manually calibrated.

I agree with the lady but let me add Its very stupid to go to the best place in the world for coffee and argue with more experienced consumer period... You think of yourself smart but she was polite while laughing its like pealing a banana in front a monkey the monkey will definitely laugh So Whatever you're used to its wrong update and relearn how to taste coffee
@Ridethecoffeebean9 күн бұрын
Hehe I wasn’t arguing with her, I was genuinely confused and was trying to understand what she actually meant. And I started thinking about how terminology is used. Because in Italy I have heard many people describe lemon as bitter, and the way she said that lighter coffees are more bitter and compared it to a lemon really confused me because I would say the opposite. So Was it a mixup on her part of what bitter and acidic means? Or was it a cultural way of describing it that so don’t understand. I absolutely do not think I am smart. Quite the opposite. But ai am curious and when I don’t understand something I keep asking questions to get a clarification. Why is what I am used to wrong?
@nadernuri60463 күн бұрын
@@Ridethecoffeebean indeed lemon has a bitter taste this is common sense I don't know how this is confusing for you bitter not salty the definition of bitter is the taste sensation that is peculiarly acrid, astringent, and often disagreeable and is characteristic of citrus peels, unsweetened cocoa, black coffee And its true light coffee( low caffeine) like Toraldo Arancio for example is more bitter cause its 90% Arabica 10% Robusta which is more bitter than Toraldo Bluette "high caffeine" contains 60% Arabica 40% Robusta some of us enjoy this bitterness I'm sorry for the comment i don't know how you drink your coffee but most of the world drink coffee like its a juice or a shake The right way to drink coffee and enjoy for its caffeine to stimulate your mind and enhance alertness not to get sugar or chocolate and other stuff added to make a giant cup of shitty drink I don't blame you cause if someone is used to a burned espresso or lets say bad coffee taste and thinks its great he'll never know how a really great coffee taste like When it comes to the home of coffee its Italy you should learn not argue

These types of videos: a vlogger recommending restaurants or cafés in a city they don’t live in, always make me cringe. This is a zero effort video. She likely arrived in Amsterdam, went to the West (because it’s a fancy area), zoomed in on Google maps and realised there was a cluster of cafés located there. And so she decided to tell the world that those were the best cafés in the city. Not a single one of the truly great coffee places appears in this video but perhaps it’s lucky for us, the residents, so that our favourite coffee hang out spots may remain tourists and influencer-free.

Hehe yeah you like what you like 😅😛 i would guess the reason you like that is because you grew up drinking it and it gives you good memories. Are you the same with wine? You drink the cheapest wine with highest alcohol content? And with food? The cheapest pasta and tomato sauce? Italians are a bit strange in that sense . They Are super into quality food and wine. Very proud of their food traditions, and make the best espresso machines in the world, but has this weird idea that the machines should never be washed, and drink the most bitter coffee in the world 😅😂 They seem to be so proud of the history and culture that their eyes are closed for improving anything. “This is how it was done in 1900, so that is the only way to do it still” 😅 Norwegians tend to be the same when it comes to their traditions too, but it has evolved a little bit at least 😅 Luckily Italy is starting the finally change the coffee culture, at least amongst younger people, and more people are enjoying higher quality coffee that is traceable 😛

Its ironic that in my home city of Manchester, a traditional industrial city in the north of England, I get get a better standard of coffee than in Italian cities like Venice and Bologna. We have a lot of specialist coffeeshops in Manchester now that serve light roast 3rd wave coffee that is of a very high standard. on the 1980s and 1990s most people in Manchester and the reat of the UK would just drink instant coffee at home which was of very low quality and now we have a better coffee scene than places in Italy, who would have believed that 30 years ago!
