I was also shocked when Kenneth said that, I’ve been drinking french press my whole life so I thought « I have high cholesterol now?! » ahah. Glad you enjoy this collaboration and all the coffee knowledge he has to share 😊 I learned a lot while filming it too!

Thank you for this video, my husband and I enjoy learning all the coffee information and interviews you share. We do want to ask what your thoughts are on the Aero Press coffee unit.

Thank you so much 😊 I’m glad you enjoy it 😛 I love the aeropress 😛 it’s one of the most versatile coffee brewers I know of. I usually bring it with me everywhere, but had to leave it at home when traveling on a motorcycle… But I will make a video about it as soon as I am able to 😛

On the clever try adding the water ahead of the coffee. Draws down much faster.

Yeah true. I know some people prefer that way. But personally I prefer it this way. They both work, but you should grind a bit differently for the two methods. When you find what you like the best, just stick to that 😝

my left ear enjoyed this video :P i personally only use the clever dripper out of simplicity. after james hoffmann's recipe (water first, then coffee, ~2.5 minutes brew time total). people also say that the average brew of the clever dripper tastes better than the average brew of the v60. clever dripper cant reach the highs that the v60 can. (these informations were mostly gathered during my own research on the internet, I personally dont own a v60 and cant confirm this) btw how tall are you? you look like a dude taller than 2 meters :D

Hehe yeah we’re having some audio issues 😅 didn’t realize it was only one speaker until it was uploaded since we use the computers speakers to edit… 🙈 I would agree with that. I think Hoffmans method is great. In this video I kind of wanted to show the most simple way of doing it. And pouring water over the coffee is just a bit quicker and a bit less messy I think. But I agree that the more delicate flavors come with his method. And I agree with your research 😛 the v60 can produce some incredible brews, but is more tricky to get just right. The clever is much more forgiving because of the full immersion I’m not that tall. Just 187cm

Did I miss the grind you use for each? 8 minutes on a French press!? I usually only go for 4 minutes. Picked up a new grinder a week ago. I haven't tried my French press grind yet. I'll try it your way tomorrow. Pretty well have my coffee limit for today. 🖤🍵🖤

I don't remember exactly the grind we used on that one because the setting depends on the grinder you use. The best is to try with your grinder, then adjust it whether it tastes too sour or too bitter to find what you prefer. Hope it turns out nice when you try the recipe!

@@Ridethecoffeebean I did your French press method today. 😊🖤🍵🖤 I'm going to play with the grind to see how it changes. 👍👍
