I just got the beat audio orbit saga cable for this iem. My God the sounds is incredible with the n30le ap dap. I highly recommend adding this to make the bird really sings.

The UE is all BA right? I think these are true Hybrid featuring ES, BA and DD, with 2 x 9mm dynamic drivers for bass on each side. DD are best for bass. Peace;)

why can I write? I've had these headphones for about a year now and I can say without a doubt that they are exceptional headphones. truly unique I could only write this: "go and buy Gl-Amt16 go and buy Gl-Amt16" I'm fascinated by them and I had most of the flagships but for "electronic" music Schiller, Koan, Astonaut Ape, Kaon" are like an audiophile's wet dream come true, they are very fast, they do not color the sound, they just show what it is like, they play analogue with super resolution, they are perfectly balanced, with a huge stage and the best high tones I have ever heard, it is simply something unusual my favorites are sp1000ss / final audio c106 / Amt16 Wm1z / final audio c106 / Amt16 Bravo GoldenPlanar Bravo

Thanks for the video. I just bought the watch too, and I love it. In case you’re not aware, you left the plastic cellophane on the case back. You can see it with the red stripe going across. Just a friendly heads up that you might want to take that off.

Sound is very subjective. This is selling very well and is limited to 199 I think. Everyone I know who has bought them think it's one of the best. There will always be people who cannot settle for least even if it is very little in our eyes. Everyone has different preferences and listening requirements. Therefore, I cannot comment on whether it is 8 times better. Although there must be a point of diminishing returns. If you can afford it why not;) Just as long as you find enjoyment in listening to it. I think this is the main point. Make yourself happy.

It's not 8x better than 1k iems. At some point you get diminishing returns, around 2k I belive

No because I still prefer the sound and look of the $1700 Sony IER Z1R especially the sound of the 2024 version but sound is all subjective we all have our own preferences what really matters is we enjoy our audio gears whatever they are and how cheap or expensive they are

they're definitely not jangly, but if you're hoping for the same level of bracelet as watches that cost 5/10/20 times the price, you'd be disappointed.

This is the worst product Never ever buy a cayin product !!!!!! Bought my at late Nov 2023 and send in for repair and got back from Cayin March 2024 , as the unit get very warm to hot. But that not the worse the worst is that the unit get warm it hangs the Hiby music apps and got to restart all times . The Horrible of my life is that the machine plays the music without scanning the memory card in the unit . I send the video of the clip as poof to cayin service in china and they denied it completely and say they cannot find the fault and they NEVER EVER GOT IT REPAIR AT ALL. Worse is that they damage the unit on the volume knob and got a big dent in it and the bottom of the unit is scratch ???? what kind of unprofessionlism of service technicians damaging conssumer set ???? And never ever bother to say or apologise although i don‘t stay in CHINA. I live in singapore and the unit is not cheap at all of $4200 in singapore currency. Guys if you readng all these never ever trust ,the KZbinr Review as they don’t buy and use the unit as we consumer do with our hard earn money as we buy them . The sound quality is not warm as they claim at all but bright sounding and very thinning sound. Again i would say IT IS NOT WARM at all, either rich,thick or lush !!!!! Soundstaging is normal not fanastic. So remember never ever buy CAYIN PRODUCT IF NOT YOU LEARN YOUR LESSON THE HARD WAY AS I DO !!!!!!! BEWARE

pair it w anything you like, amber pearl quite nice improvement but youll have to buy the unique melody as well dap nowadays can also be used as pc/phone/laptop/gadget dac, so a win2 portability and desktop wise

Thanks Donald. Hope to get this to you soon. I made some refinements in the final version. For the manual I have taken out the ring binder and used Case binding which is a better finish and more professional. It is on target for delivery:)

Just wish you would talk more about the sound, how does it sound in comparison, Like is it near the Oriolus Szalayi or the madoo typ512 or something??? The packing is wonderful but is the IEM top of the line or middle ground or just normal $100 IEM? I'm not trying to be rude but if I am going to drop $1400+ I would like to know a little more about the sound I own 27 different IEM's from $18-$3200 but i like to know what I'm in for :) Thanks

Sound is very subjective. The Gold one is a 14 drivers IEM. For each ear, it has 4 BAs for high, 2 for the mids and 1x 9mm DD. This sound is warm and full. The Sound stage is wide and the DD is used to give it a HiFi sound and warm feel. Since the highs are 4 x BA, it sounds sweet at the top. Paired with the Gold cable it makes it wider in the sound stage and improves the vocals. It works well with the RS8 DAP. But testing also on LP6TI and N30LE which works very well with it. Hope this helps.

Fair point but everything is relative in price. You want pay US$30K and get a Lange movement you are always welcome. According to me this is great value at the right price point. If you expect to pay $3K and expect Lange hand engraved balance cock with own movement someone needs to wake you up from your dream;)

Lovely review! I was wondering what these might be like if they were headphones? I like headphones like the Goldplanar GL2000 and the Sendy Peacock; headphones to me that sound large, organic and well layered (almost like speakers), and I was wondering if these would sound similar to that but in IEM form? If they make strings and drums feel life-like and organic, then these would definitely be a standout IEM! Cheers!

I have tried out the GL2000 and it's a quality OTE headphone and the price is even more attractive. Ofc, the OTE headphones sound is more preferable. I gather most people went for the GL2000 if size is not an issue. I bought it because for the price it was a no brainer for what it offered. As they say the IEM always try to mimic the OTE headphones and the headphones mimic the speakers;). I recommend the IEMs for how it sounds for the price.

Can you compare these to Noble viking Damascus? I thought that's 6000$ or 8000$? I believe the TI has better mids but can it touch the bass slam and dynamics of the noble?
