The Joy of Owning a Goldplanar AMT16 IEM - What is all the fuss about AMT Drivers?

Just received my AMT16 IEM. The future are the new drivers. Here is a highly recommended IEM for those who are bored of listening to BA or ES driver IEMs.

Lovely review! I was wondering what these might be like if they were headphones? I like headphones like the Goldplanar GL2000 and the Sendy Peacock; headphones to me that sound large, organic and well layered (almost like speakers), and I was wondering if these would sound similar to that but in IEM form? If they make strings and drums feel life-like and organic, then these would definitely be a standout IEM! Cheers!

I have tried out the GL2000 and it's a quality OTE headphone and the price is even more attractive. Ofc, the OTE headphones sound is more preferable. I gather most people went for the GL2000 if size is not an issue. I bought it because for the price it was a no brainer for what it offered. As they say the IEM always try to mimic the OTE headphones and the headphones mimic the speakers;). I recommend the IEMs for how it sounds for the price.

why can I write? I've had these headphones for about a year now and I can say without a doubt that they are exceptional headphones. truly unique I could only write this: "go and buy Gl-Amt16 go and buy Gl-Amt16" I'm fascinated by them and I had most of the flagships but for "electronic" music Schiller, Koan, Astonaut Ape, Kaon" are like an audiophile's wet dream come true, they are very fast, they do not color the sound, they just show what it is like, they play analogue with super resolution, they are perfectly balanced, with a huge stage and the best high tones I have ever heard, it is simply something unusual my favorites are sp1000ss / final audio c106 / Amt16 Wm1z / final audio c106 / Amt16 Bravo GoldenPlanar Bravo

Yes they do in the sense that the sound stage is wide. It feels like the instruments are spread far away and around you. But they have good sound isolation from the outside sounds, letting sound out but not in. Try them if you can. Certainly worth every penny compared to the expensive IEMs.
