I was thinking the same thing. Having two frames on both sides looks great, but ends up being too thick. I been watching so many videos, trying to figure out the best way to build a sliding barn door.

So between the door and the bottom of the rail is 3/4” and 2-3/4” to the bottom of the wheel. Hope this helps. Sorry for the late reply, been away on business.

The music is from my friend Andy's old band Warchestra. They were out of Tulsa Oklahoma. I pull the music from an album that he gave me, works good for me cause its badass and I don't have to deal with copyright.

I'm sure it is. I'm definitely going to have to keep this design in mind. In the next month of so I'll be building matching corner desks for my GF and I when we move and I think something like this would do quite nicely.
