This is one of the best I've found, if not the best. Thank you. You did great work, and included all steps. Keep up your good work.

How thick should any barn door be ? ,I use pine 1x6 (actual 3/4 "), but if I have to do both sides of door, the door ends up being 2.25 in. Thick ...my son says this is wrong...help please
@jorrba39343 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing. Having two frames on both sides looks great, but ends up being too thick. I been watching so many videos, trying to figure out the best way to build a sliding barn door.

How much did it cost you and what type of wood did you use?
@WhoKnowsWho26 жыл бұрын
Very nice. Have you had any warping problems with the wood all glued to the frame?
@gabeclarkdesign73026 жыл бұрын
Nope, checked it out today and it’s still straight as can be.
@WhoKnowsWho26 жыл бұрын
@@gabeclarkdesign7302 that's awesome. I think I may have issues with moisture because our door will be separating a bedroom and bathroom with tub and shower. I was going to glue/nail everything but I'm going to give everything room to move instead now.

So between the door and the bottom of the rail is 3/4” and 2-3/4” to the bottom of the wheel. Hope this helps. Sorry for the late reply, been away on business.

Great job big guy...i see you're not much of a talker...😁..im gonna have to insist that you put real shoes on in your work space...you could really hurt your feet...AND you did a beautiful job on that door buddy...truly gifted...

Michelle Hood thanks, I’ll consider wearing real shoes from here on out. Those were my work flops though, wouldn’t want to get my nice ones dirty.

If you got rid of the music, this video would be great. Everything else is pretty good, but I wish you would explain what you're doing instead of silly stock music. Thanks for the video!

Kevin Unglesbee thanks for the feedback, I really am not very good at the whole “production” of making KZbin videos but will try to incorporate some more dialogue into my next build.

Most barn doors don't go with the house, Not unless you live in a Barn.
