This was quite a nostalgia trip, especially the old versions of places around Mushroom World. I've been a fan of 2kki since 2015, and these old versions really take me back! Although it's mostly better now.

if any1 is reading this, i need some help. im trying to figure out if there are any of the developers still in forums or anything of the sort. Reason being is because im interested in trying to help improve the 2kki explorer😅 i'd like to organize it, but i need the ability to save my work, click and drag worlds wile zooming in-out, and the worlds to grow-srink as you zoom. Id learn HTML and just do it all myself but that would be more nuts than what im trying to do in the first place 😆

...There are a lot of technically impressive 2kki worlds. There are a lot of genuinely beautiful 2kki worlds. So it's always a pleasure watching Qxy dip into both. Shifting and changing mazes, worlds flashing perfectly with their music, intricate and distinctly crafted denizens, not to mention the fucking _platformer sections._ All paired with crisp, delicate, perfect pixelart forming every inch... It is delightful to me what 2kki devs can manage, in RPGMaker of all things.

Hey quick question: How are your files for these early versions so clean? when i try to run them in my easyrpg locale there's a lot of missing files and whatnot. I downloaded the old versions directly from the wiki but it seems like they don't work on my pc. I even tried updating my EasyRPG too lol I'm not really expecting tech support from you or anything, but I would be interested to hear your process so i can see if i went wrong somewhere lmao Nice vid btw, these are some of the only looks at early 2kki available on KZbin and I really appreciate them ^_^

What the heck is this game but i love it

having crow's nest be today's daily expedition and therefore having to do delta's entire route was one of the worst experiences i've had in a game

i'm so used to my modded version of 0.068 which might've showed up during research for this video that the original versions of the content i did things for gives me whiplash when seeing it again 22:43 cut me some slack 2020 me was on something, also vantablack world is present in a restored format in modern 2kki
