Short term, a reprint is guaranteed to happen. Hopefully not everyone gets destroyed buying high. Long term, although it drops, it will rise over time just like evolutions.

The graph you had up for the Venusaur was also not for the NM copy, but for a Lightly Played version. NM venusaur currently trading around $78.... as of about 4 or 5 hours ago.

I'm not sure where you saw $61 for the Blastoise... even in your video it shows the NM average for the Blasty boy is about $78. I checked earlier and saw it currently selling around $80... with at least one sale on eBay at $100 today...

I hope we keep getting these little restocks of 151. Been totally doable to find in the wild for me. I just kind of hope they don’t give us the Crown Zenith treatment and ensure that the single can never climb in value haha.

Buddy, unlike most of the commenters here apparently, I exactly agree with you. Gym heroes, glory of Team Rocket, and Terrastal festival will far outclass surging sparks and stellar crown. Crown zenith is my current pick up im buying lots of small lots of singles at killer prices, 151 lots coming up at fairly decent prices. I finished 151 master set and am not feeling the pressure to invest in it right now. If it reprints there will be a dumb amount of product and 151 in particular has so many people holding it for now until like 3 years down the line when these highly impulsivr newbie buyers will be leaving the hobby or ripping, or even as seen lately, some people lose collections to housefires, flooding, etc. I think theres so much on my fun list to come that I dont even know if I can invest this year haha. I want to master sets and not stare at booster boxes. Im probably going to buy some 151 and Crown Zenith boosters and wait until the new sets. I might get a surging sparks etb PC edition aswell but honestly this is only a hobby for me.

As far as 151 goes, wouldn't it make more sense for Pokémon to sell it now aove retail, then try to restock it during black friday and sell it below retail?

Hype is nothing until there's a product. Eevee and Rocket sets have potential, sure, but they can ruin both sets with lazy design and poor card choices. People don't like Moonbreon because it's Umbreon. They like it because it's Moonbreon.

Sleeping on Surging Sparks is a bad idea. Just because there are good sets coming doesn’t mean Surging isn’t investable NOW while prices will be at their lowest. Now, I can’t confirm this will be THE BEST main set of the era but it has a great shot at being in the top 5, possibly 3. Don’t miss out on opportunities right here, right now.

As someone who got back into the hobby less than 2 months ago,I appreciate your opinion and advice.I am looking to complete the jungle/fossil/base set and I am unaware of all these new sets but wanting to have a crack at 1 of them for fun.

I understand the FOMO aspect but seems like you will be wanting to have some surging sparks for investing like you say but the best time to invest in the set is right when the pre release comes out. Prices are at the lowest. Besides shrouded fable that set is really but, but the past three the booster boxes are already selling over $100. I got mine at $99 and I’m already in the profit even if it is only a few dollars but I’m already in the profit while you are still waiting. Just saying

I respect your thought process. Instead of crown zenith you should just put more money into 151 but that’s just my opinion. Hopefully gonna get at least 5 or more booster box cases of surging sparks and buy 151 when it’s available. Was able to get 12 poster collection boxes from Walmart about a week ago before they sold out

I do agree with what you’re saying. I did make surgi by sparks my first booster box case purchase though lol and will probably pick up 2-3 more boxes of stellar hopefully by end of the year. Really hope we will get another shot at 151 before christmas

I went pretty hard on surging sparks, and got a heavy chunk of stellar crown. My new goal is one of every booster box. Might take me a while only got as far back as rebel trash.

What’s up brother, huge fan been following the content for awhile now. Not sure if you’re familiar with grading cards but I was wondering your thoughts on which cards to grade from the 151 set. I have the set complete as well as multiple copies of the mew promos. Honestly just love 151 and want to get some slabbed up. If you could lmk your opinion that would be awesome ( Don’t want to throw my money at a wall.)
