i refute one thing: you said at these prices i probably would have never got into mining, but the reality is, all these Small at home miners, box miners, etc, they have basically caused gpu mining to be irrelevant. If i can go buy a iceriver ks0, (og, pro, utlra or whatever) at a price cheaper than a GPU that mine way better than a gpu, they basically have become the point of entry for new home miners and replaced gpu's. A 120v home miner can buy a ks0 ultra for like 400 bucks, set it and get it churning fairly easily. Then as they get more into it, they start dabbling with overclocking and modding. home, low power miners are the new gpus

This brought imitators onto the scene and at some point shovels started collecting dust in department stores. I think we are heading towards an oversaturation of the market, which needs to cool down again first. Miners are not a cow that the manufacturers can milk endlessly.
