What exactly did you say to the person in the Ranger station when you asked for your pass for two nights? Did you tell them you were camping on the to away? How could I do the same thing? I’m thinking about taking the same trip up to that campground from Devils sports State Park in the next three weeks. Any information would be so helpful because I’m from Lake Hartwell

There are four boat ramps at Devils Fork. 3 for public and 1 for villa rentals. You can launch your boat from 3 of them. only 1 is kayaks only.

Still trying to figure out if you have to use flies as soon as you go up the river off of the lake until you get to the fish top access or can you use any other type of bait with more then one hook? Still lost on this subject

That’s a good question. I think at the river mouth you are ok, because it’s mostly stocked trout that have made it in over time. But when you start getting up and catching natives, with more color. That’s when they are more fragile, and die easier from their lips not being as tough. I don’t know if the game warden would see it the same way. But I hope they would. Because there is no signs clearly marking it. And it’s not really navigable up passed the first pool.

Just discovered your channel! Where are you at the end of this video, with a mobile home in the background? Is it a mobile home park or a solo? Looking for a nice place to buy a mobile home in the area.

You are not helping public lands by name dropping and drawing a 🎯 on specific spots better off speaking in general terms it kinda 💩 on areas and other hunters who have took time to scout and put in the time

The areas I drop, are already far gone. Also, the forest is all of ours. Buy a map. Travel off the road. Don’t complain about spots that are 50 feet of a rd being crowded. Also, every dove field in sc has a line at the gate opening day. Welcome to reality,

👍 The TN line is where the pavement starts, right in front of Paint Rock. The only pictograph that is still visible that I know of, is visible from the road on the right side of the rock (NC) on an East facing flat panel. It is very faint. The pictograph is orange/red and the rock is tan and about 30 feet from the ground. The cave is small and empty. If there were pictographs in there, they're gone now. It's pretty sketchy getting inside..

I've been to it but not inside. The last few steps are hairy AF and I was alone with no gear. The Chimney Tops Trail in Weavers Bend is the easiest route to get close to it, but that doesn't get you inside. I only know one other guy that's been in the cave, and he used all kinds of climbing gear to go down the hill and inside. Did you find the pictograph on Paint Rock?

an ATV? you did it on easy mode I used to drive my 98 dodge stratus down there all the time. Also don't ever jump off that bridge I know people who have gotten seriously hurt with a broken back doing that and one year someone died so seriously no one do it.

Was heading home to Raliegh NC after a week of paddling the creeks in the Obed river system. Figured I would stay the night at Max Patch and check out Halebop comet. Stopped in Waterville Tennessee and got some beer. This was a week night so I figured I would have the place to myself. That place was packed. One guy had a nice motorized telescope at the parking lot. Hiked up to the top and there was another one up there. Lots of Buddhist monks up there banging gongs and blowing flutes. This was around midnight. Crazy!
