Looks like you went a couple Miles up stream? Impressive. I’m trying to kayak fish the river sometime. Awesome video

Still trying to figure out if you have to use flies as soon as you go up the river off of the lake until you get to the fish top access or can you use any other type of bait with more then one hook? Still lost on this subject

That’s a good question. I think at the river mouth you are ok, because it’s mostly stocked trout that have made it in over time. But when you start getting up and catching natives, with more color. That’s when they are more fragile, and die easier from their lips not being as tough. I don’t know if the game warden would see it the same way. But I hope they would. Because there is no signs clearly marking it. And it’s not really navigable up passed the first pool.

What is your setup on you boat to be able to run up so shallow?
@CarolinaOutdoorChannel2 жыл бұрын
Flat bottom, evenly distributed weight, and a jack plate on the transom.

@@CarolinaOutdoorChannel Does anyone catch any Muskies in the river above Lake Adger or in the Lake?
@CarolinaOutdoorChannel2 жыл бұрын
@@paulford8987 no, have never heard of or seen musky in these waters. French broad is a better place for that.

I fished the Delayed Harvest section last weekend for the first time and caught my PB Brown, was a fun day for sure. I just moved to SC and have been exploring new places to fish all over and man that is a cool little River. Maybe one day I’ll run into you up there brother, nice job on the video. I smashed them buttons and I’m looking forward to checking out some more of your videos, tight lines!
