Hey Anne-Marie!! ❤😊 I'm not doing a no spend per se. It's more like an impulse intervention. Whenever I want to spend on something, I have to pause & really think about it. Whether I buy it or not, I have to send either the full or half price of whatever the item was to my savings. This is mostly for Etsy & Amazon. This doesn't extend to items I used a gift card for or giveaway prizes. 😊 For example, I had an interrupted impulse purchase of $14 & sent that money to my emergency fund instead. 😊

Thats fantastic!!!! Wow I love that! Saving your impulse buys will really supply your emergency fund with a lot of love!!! 💕💕

If your bills are $3000 how can you put that amount in savings for one month ahead? Sorry… i missed something 💜
@thequeensbudget15 күн бұрын
$3000 was an example of how much someones bills might come to, not how much they take home each month. In order to save for one month ahead you have to have extra money in your budget to do so. In my example, perhaps their take home is $3500 or more a month which allows them to place $500+ into savings challenges, sinking funds or apply to their one month ahead. .

@@thequeensbudget ok; gotcha! That makes sense sorry. I’m so trying to figure this all out. Thank you💜🤗
@sandrac424414 күн бұрын
Yes; I like the percentage savings idea too. I’m going to check that out with my budget!✨
@thequeensbudget14 күн бұрын
Im so sorry I didnt make the video clear. I should have said in the example that the person takes home $3500. I would like you to watch my allocation videos when I stuff my one month ahead binder as well as the other two categories. I will give a break down as to how much is going into this strategy and how much went into other challenges Im doing so it can give you an easier perspective because not all the money I save monthly will be going just to this. I have other categories that I need to save for other than this but it at least can allow you to save for one month ahead as well as 2 other very important categories as well 💕💕 sorry so long!!
