Is 8HP70 different than the Mopar variants. On the Hellcats we have to use th HP80 because the 70 variants stock aren't strong enough. Was the transmission rebuilt with stronger internals?

Hello sir. 3.2L V6, 9.0-9.5 CR, cammed, 270 cfm heads, 18 psi, 8k rpm, 565 all-wheel hp goal (700 crank hp). 5-speed manual street car, with the occasional drag race. Confused at 6:30 and 11:03..630- said MAP? For my paddles and sequential. Next at 1103 are separate loose wires you Said are for paddles and sequential. Hmmm. So thru my haze; can I use the loomed portion (6:30) to the sequential , and the loose (11:03) straight to my paddles? Or what is going on haha

Doesn’t the trans ecu need to be tuned before you could back it in and out to circulate the fluid?

Hey man! awesome explanation! I couldn't find anyone else explaining all the wires etc. I just have one question though: Can you use the factory ECU (out of a GS300) for CAN L and CAN H? If so, how? Thanks a lot!
@Motorsporttuningsolutions1Ай бұрын
Hey mate, appreciate it. Yea you posibly could, but you would need to figure out what info gets sent from the stock ecu, what bits and bites are used and there offset, multiplication etc thats needed to convert the information into the TCU. Or, you just buy a Link ECU and life is much easier

just fyi, you can do the transbrake on the paddles. hold downshift to activate transbrake use upshift to bump/stage the car release downshift to release transbrake. you might have to enable bump on tuner pro.

I’ve been dealing with Charles from Track industries. And I feel 8speed has of sorts cornered the market. And it’s become very hard to source parts on this trans ATM. I might be wrong !! Eg their trans conversion adapter from 4wd to Rwd is a 2-3mth wait and clutch emulator the same. manufacturing these type of parts in this country is a must so enthusiasts can enjoy these products and have them readily available. Just my 2 cents 😅
