Very, very, very impressive, no doubt about it. The machine is a beauty, and an historical artifact restored to working condition. However- and not to be critical - but after what was probably weeks of hard work and a lot of resources to restore this machine, the stitch it makes isn't even all that great. But a machine like this was amazing at the time it was made and we are fortunate to have been able to see how it was all put together and made to sew again! Thank you for taking the time to make this video and share it with us.

All I kept thinking during this video was, "I sure hope this fellow knows a LOT about these machines because putting back together is going to be a b---ch! Amazing and so nice that a beautiful thing did not end up in a landfill.

I absolutely LOVE these older machines that have been restored - I wish I could afford one! But the quality back then was to last - 1 time purchase and pass it on - unlike today’s plastics. But it is obvious this person has the know how and equipment to be able to bring one of these machines back to life! If you ever have one that needs a loving home - a trade one or whatever - Let me know and I will take care of it and ensure it lives on and is used! Love your work! The beauty of these pieces being lovingly restored or replaced but so authentic - yes it brings me to emotions I am surprised to have but feel such happiness seeing these so beautifully restored like new! Event he wood you worked to keep! So wonderful!!

I should learn how to do stuff like that.

How can you remember where each bolt, nut and part goes after you’ve removed it? I noticed you remade some of the damaged screws! And what is that really interesting tool you used to hold a bolt to be tightened inside the sewing machine? Amazing miraculous results!
