Why doesn’t anybody talk about the lead in old paint? If you are vacuuming up lead paint with anything other than a Hepa rated vacuum then you are creating a lead hazard in your shop as the vacuum’s exhaust will redistribute the lead dust in the old paint you are removing .

Good video great information. However you should explain that there are two different types of drill bits for concrete. A bit for use in a hammer drill is useless in a plain rotary drill motor.

We have a pocket door on our master bedroom to bathroom. We just finished painting our bedroom. Was considering replacing the pocket door and installing a barn door, but now wondering if I'm better off just replacing the hardware on the existing pocket door. Does it matter what side of the wall this is done from? Bathroom is next, so if I can work from that side I'd prefer it!

Great video. I read somewhere that fire code requires lining the studs with 1/2" drywall. Is it true that it's not a good idea to install a wood shelf butted up against the studs? I'm wondering because we're in the process of installing recessed shelves inside our pantry. I hate to give up the space to add drywall on each side if it isn't necessary. Can anyone advise?
