Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun both deserve to be a All Star.

You clearly haven't seen Jalen Green not score 27 points against the Grizzlies. Just hate on Jalen Green for no reason. You are a hater. Players told Fred VanVleet take a lesser role let Jalen Green run the offense with Amen Thompson.

I truly don't see Cooper Flag being one of those generational players. I can see him being an all-star and a good player that has great years but when I think about top lottery picks over the last 20 years or so he doesn't sniff being the top selection. I'm really not sure he will be better than Domantas Sabonis

Somethinv that, it seems like, everyone is missing about the Cavs Thunder game. That slip screen action in the 4th that lead to something like eight open looks for the Cavs was just an in-game adjustment, and the entire quarter passed where the "best defense in the NBA" simply couldn't adjust. Chet and Caruso dont change that. The Thunder's coach simply didnt read and adjust the rotations to counter it. Most teams will cheat a 3rd guy up and ball deny while the rest of the defense scramble/recovers. The Thunder just didn't get it. Another adjustment is how they played Mitchell off ball in the 2nd half to get him open looks. Mitchell rolled around screens on the weak side or cut through the middle and got clean shots off. Dort is a solvable problem, and Atkinson figured it out half way through the 3rd. Even when the Thunder did make adjustments, Atkinson was just waiting for the opportunity to give the ball to the secondary playmakers like Ty and LeVert and let them cook. That was low key a coaching chess match of a game, and the Cavs just have SOOO many weapons...

Kenny ran the same team back. Has cut the minute's down for everyone. Everyone is together on the team. No player is selfish, or has a stank face on when he's not dropping the buckets. Catch us in June 👀💪
@bpkop1387Күн бұрын
the thing that has me hopeful on the cavs in the post season is how low the minutes the starters are averaging right now. combined with how many good minutes were getting from our bench. it really adds up over 82 games and could make you less prone to injury. fatigue causes a lot of injuries out there. plus being this far ahead in the east allows us to rest anyone who feels even a little off any given night so they can recover before a small tweak turns into a season ending injury. and if we do have to do that theyre deep enough to have a competent player sub in for them. the team ball theyre playing allows the bench to look its best.

Seems like these two haven't watched many Cavs games. As a Clevelander I can say nobody is worried about LeBron's shadow he cast on Cleveland. He did his job albeit in a f**ked up way but he got us a chip. He'll get his statue somewhere in the city. But if these 24-25 Cavs get a chip the whole team may get a group statue. btw Boston hasn't been playing great as of late. Here's my take on Boston. They only have one gameplan and that's chuck as many 3's as it takes to win no matter if they hit or not. They have no plan b if the 3 isn't falling and no answer for teams like CLE or OKC that can kill you in multiple ways. Boston is coached by analytics and algorithms. They might as well have a ball boy on the sideline holding a laptop asking ChatGPT what play to run next.

Finally a non Houston media person getting it right. Don’t mortgage the future for some vet trade that will f up the chemistry and may make things worse. Go in to the playoffs and get some good with this squad. We are ahead of schedule.

Caris Levert isn’t a “throw him the ball and let him cook” type of guy? That’s all he does. Same with Garland. Same with Mitchell. Mobley has been exceptional this year in creating his own shot. This team has half a dozen dudes who have been elite shot creators this year
@bpkop1387Күн бұрын
its crazy all year since game 1 ive been hearing "caris will come back down to earth and go back to bein caris" and his numbers may have dropped a bit from early in the season but nowhere near his previous years. the way they play "ethical basketball" gives so many open looks and advantageous scoring options i feel like anyone could look their best on this team right now.
@omieg89Күн бұрын
I’m convinced none of the national guys watch Cavs games. They just watch highlights here and there. Caris has been balling since he got to Cleveland and he’s having his best season yet this year. The only national guys who watch the team are Windhorst, KOC, and Lowe.

Technically Cavs are on pace to win 74 games since you can’t win a partial game. Even though the exact number is like 73.08, you’ve always got to round up

It will be a shame if Rockets don't get any all star nod being #2 in a loaded West. They should have a representative in there.. And I think they should make a minor trade to upgrade their rotation. Maximize the fact they have tons of expiring contracts & draft assets. Someone that can address need and improve them offensively, a John Collins or Corey Kispert maybe..
@LebronJames-kd6pw2 күн бұрын
I can tell you, people in Cleveland definitely do not have a LeBron shadow problem like you guys were discussing at the end. People look fondly on the championship and those years and that’s it. This year’s team is different and special and the people are all lucky to have rebuilt so quickly.
