Really helps this is my schools first year of FTC with no robotics experience yet we still got 3 in the tournament

How do you code the arm so it holds position without being affected by gravity?
@JoshuaThe-xp2jbКүн бұрын
You can set the motor to brake or you can use encoders and have it set to run to its current position if a button is pressed so it stays there as long as your motor has enough torque

I very much appreciate the starter robot guide! Without it, I'm not sure our team would have been able to field a working robot this season.

Perhaps this is a silly question but can you place this on a switch (ISO of a dial)? I have a custom landing gear rig where I'd like to better control the travel but still want it on your typical LG switch.

I did not get the part where it says that driverail update helped the extension limit. How come? The viper slide is on the 17 hole arm rail.

How do you mount the motors veritcal without the top of the gear being blocked by the motor screws?

Thanks for posting this video, very helpful. However, we are having trouble building the arm extension. Do you have instructions to build the arm extension?
@MStoicaАй бұрын
4:18 But we should be able to also control the motor spinning direction from the Arduino as well, through the motor driver, right? Or, at this point of the video, were you speaking strictly about how the motor works stand-alone, without involvement of software control through drivers?

Hello, which 5203 motor is the perfect balance between speed and torque? I know it’s very subjective but the current motors we have (5203/312RPM) are excellent but we’d like to replace them on our crawlers to make them faster, with higher rpm motors but without sacrificing too much torque:-)

I wonder how many people are going to be able to do level two hang. It’s gonna be one heck of a challenge for design
@D.HansonOfficial2 ай бұрын
Do you mean level 3? Level 1 is just touching the low rung, Level 2 is hanging from the low rung and Level 3 is hanging from the high rung and staying above the low rung

@GoogleTime342 ай бұрын
wdym? like how it extends the arm? there is a part of the belt that is anchored on the arm so when the motor pulls it "pulls" out the arm. the kit is the viper slide on goBILDAs website
