I just got my first Benchmade for $200. Then I bought Camillus for $20 in Walmart. Guess which one was sharper out of box? 😏 But, Benchmade is prettier to look at.

I had this knife, liked it, feels like an amazing knife, the only downside is the steel. Edge retention just didnt seem too good, a week of cutting boxes and using it for tape cutting and it just felt really dull.

You didn't mention what the steel was. I imagine it's a basic 8cr maybe? But that's still more than good enough for edc uses. I totally agree that Benchmade has started smoking crack the last few years with their prices, it's gotten ridiculous. But it's also fair to say that for the steep price tag you pay, you are getting a premium qc, fit and finish and even their base models offer some good steels. I myself wouldn't spend the money they're charging these days on one of their knives, but I've handled a few and they have been very nice. I actually bought several clones off a-express, including a bugout and taggedout clone and have been blown away by what China can produce for a low price of $15-$25. The fit, finish and action aren't exactly on the same level as the real ones, but they are damn close and the action is great. And yeah, you're probably getting a 440c on the blades but they have all held a great edge and taken an incredibly sharp edge too.

I took mine to the woods for the first time today to cut down some saplings for walking sticks and couldn't be happier with it. For under 50 bucks, you won't find a better knife in that price range. IMO

For $30 it’s a banger knife. I also bought it’s twin with the black carbon fiber scales.

The controller has trim buttons. The instructions will show you how to calibrate the accelerometers, which will solve much of the drift problem. Kill your home wifi to eliminate interference. 🤣 You get what you pay for. That said, I haven't seen this many problems in other review. You may have either a defective controller or drone.

I’ve thrown this knife around for a good amount of time maybe 7 months and it held up really good scales are ever so slightly loose and I can’t get them off but I’ll just buy another one for bushcraft and keep my current one for throwing

I remember buying a first production Saibu brand new and it was completely dull and the cross bar was so crunchy and stiff you couldn't even thumb flick it. I sent it back 3 times and it was still a POS, I bought a Kizer mini Domin for $50 on a whim and the build quality was so much better I never went back
