I have used winget install "Company Portal" because the local client stopped opening. I had to reauthenticate the device but it resolved the issue at hand.

Is there a way we can create a default update ring option for update deployment, that we can copy paste to multiple deployment packages. we have 5 update rings (similar setup to autopatch rings) but going back though our deployed apps creating each ring per app is a bit tedious and a time sink.

everything in my 40yr old bones has been conditioned to stay away from apps like this that claim to be an all in one updater etc lol I've installed it tho and seems to be legit so far..

salam i try to do update offline using service connection tool in offlnine mode but after get the update and try to do download befoire install i find this error .. Failed to find payload file at C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\EasySetupPayload\offline\fd3d0214-f4dc-4664-b6bb-997e381b7c9d.cab for 5 times. Move on SMS_DMP_DOWNLOADER

I wish we can choose custom location for silent installs. And also export and import installed apps. So if we reinstall apps to a new PC just import the list and it will be installed to the new PC

Definitely an upvote for a portable version going forward. My home PC is multi-boot, and having to install the program three times rather than just having a single executable in a central location makes life easier.

Does this update my programs to where I've installed them? Or just straight where the default is like C:program files? I just wanted to update it to where I've installed the app.

Normally you have to clear riquired PXE deployment, but I get the message "There is no record of a required PXE deployment for this computer. It might have been cleard or not yet run" which is not the case. Any idea?

Hi Guys at the start of the year when they introduced UUP into Windows 11 for patching process has this intern broken MECM and the OS serving process as what I see is that each OS Iso I import does not show the correct version in like if I imported the Nov 24 ISO it is reporting as 10.0.22621.2428 one year out of date. if I move away from MECM and DISM the CU's in it still reports incorrectly any idea''s............

A solution for an odd issue with Win32 Command Line Install Packages on Intune - Timing is Everything! When installing Win32 packages via the command line or .bat file or PowerShell (PS), in Intune, I’ve often encountered a timing issue. The installer consistently works when tested locally. But when run from Intune here’s what happens: 1. Intune launches the installer (e.g., installer.exe or setup.exe), and the installer appears to finish and closes. 2. However, the installer actually has more processes left to run in the background for a maybe a minute or so. 3. Since the installer has returned as completed, Intune detects and terminates the process, which prevents these final steps (some final background install process) from finishing. This likely occurs because the installer spawns a separate thread that keeps running after the main process exits. Using Start /wait doesn’t resolve the issue because it only waits for the main installer process, not any background threads it starts. My solutions: • Create a .bat file or PS to launch the installer and add a delay (e.g., with the timeout command) at the end to ensure Intune waits long enough for the entire process to complete. I’m so surprised that this fixes issues I’ve wasted hours on. Alternatively, I create an install.bat or PowerShell script, monitor a log file for a particular completion message. This approach ensures the script only finishes when it confirms the installation is truly complete.

just want to let everyone know this process works perfectly with 2203 config mgr, sql enterprise 2022 and server 2019. i finished last night and after 20 minutes i had the 2304 update ready to install. which considering issues i was having with sccm 1606 this was an absolute win. the only thing i didnt do was move the susdb to a separate hard drive as described in 20:14, i left it default for anyone wondering, i install sql/sccm on a physical pc. dell precision 5810 3.50ghz xeon 64gigs of ram. 3 ssd hard drives. nothing was virtual. my DC was on another separate dell pc and the sccm was on the domain as a normal computer. i also have a 20year old cisco switch and router i used to create a test network off my home router and utilized routing on a stick and two vlans on the switch so i could have two networks

People with Proxy in your environment. If you bump into the error "403.13 - Forbidden" in your mpcontrol.log when using a valid, "Client Auth" cert installed in the same MP, you may have to add your proxy to the server's System account, via the "netsh winhttp set proxy" command

do you have any idea why i can not image Dell 5060 intel 8th gen? we have others old models 6th gen and 7thn now we jumped to 8gen and im still no able to image them... pxe goes thru but its stuck when task sequence has to POP UP, stay blank than reboot itself. idk if it something about the bootfile on the DCHP if this new models requires new bootsfile.
