The new app lacks the ability in the apps library to find the program description like the old app had. Now if you want to know what it does you have to google the app to see what it does. No longer convenient.

How do I update the portable version 4.5.0.4? Do I need ti uninstall it and install the 5 version?

What happens to the clients - how do they get migrated to the new site?

I tried newer version and i didnt like it one bit. It is worse than the old portable one and a lot of features missing. Just for example: 1) if you have a lot of apps to install you could quickly box check them one by one and then click perform X number of updates with a single click, but now you have to manually install every single app one by one. 2) No download only mode. 3) No import/export settings

The old portable version of this software allowed all downloads to be downloaded without installing. Unless I'm missing something, this version only allows portable downloads to do that. I always prefer to double-check a downloaded app before I decide to install it...or is that achieved by clicking the three dots on an app and then selecting Disable Auto Updating? I'll give that a go. When I used to use Firefox, I always sought out an English GB version. Websites always like you to download an English US version. I have to do this now with Thunderbird. This is one reason I dislike downloads that install automatically.

Hey Justin, thanks for this video. I did not see in your video where you did any variable assignment for the dynamic package or applications. I followed your video and it works fine, including the dynamic package installation. My issue is that even though the packages install successfully, I am still get an error in the status messages that read No Env variable with specified basename PACKAGES and suffix '001' is found. Any idea how to address this false negative?

I know this is old, but still an awesome video. My challenge is that we have multiple task sequences such as win10, win11, win10 ltsc 2019 etc. The win10 LTSC is only for our instrument type devices. So currently, a TS is selected, then the next page has a drop down to select the device type such as a laptop, desktop or instrument. How can I configure the UDI to disable a device type or make only a specific device type available based on the TS selected? Basically, if the LTSC TS is selected, the laptops or desktop option won't show in the dropdown?

Is there a way we can create a default update ring option for update deployment, that we can copy paste to multiple deployment packages. we have 5 update rings (similar setup to autopatch rings) but going back though our deployed apps creating each ring per app is a bit tedious and a time sink.

salam i try to do update offline using service connection tool in offlnine mode but after get the update and try to do download befoire install i find this error .. Failed to find payload file at C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\EasySetupPayload\offline\fd3d0214-f4dc-4664-b6bb-997e381b7c9d.cab for 5 times. Move on SMS_DMP_DOWNLOADER

I wish we can choose custom location for silent installs. And also export and import installed apps. So if we reinstall apps to a new PC just import the list and it will be installed to the new PC

Definitely an upvote for a portable version going forward. My home PC is multi-boot, and having to install the program three times rather than just having a single executable in a central location makes life easier.

Does this update my programs to where I've installed them? Or just straight where the default is like C:program files? I just wanted to update it to where I've installed the app.

Normally you have to clear riquired PXE deployment, but I get the message "There is no record of a required PXE deployment for this computer. It might have been cleard or not yet run" which is not the case. Any idea?

Hi Guys at the start of the year when they introduced UUP into Windows 11 for patching process has this intern broken MECM and the OS serving process as what I see is that each OS Iso I import does not show the correct version in like if I imported the Nov 24 ISO it is reporting as 10.0.22621.2428 one year out of date. if I move away from MECM and DISM the CU's in it still reports incorrectly any idea''s............
