Code Veronica had amazing sales,it’s one of the best resident evils made,only people who can’t play complex games have an issue with it

I don't mean to a big downer during this time of year but Code Veronica is one of the lowest selling RE games. Operation Raccoon city outsold it.

It's a scam dude. There is nothing enchanced for the Pro. The officially enchanced Pro version is not even the best looking console version. And Village they made worse at 60 fps and forced people to play an infior 60 fps mode on the better hardware. 😔

@TheRE4Channel I like the console but you rely so much on devs that even something improves on a game. Then they should give us a patch later but at least a little bit improved. The checkerboard rendering had critic on base PS5 too, so why not improve this or give the game at 60 fps better settings or better textures?

I prefer the oculus version of OG RE4 over the psvr2 version of re4 remake. The shaking in the boat after the del lago fight makes me feel weird.

Just a supposition... since they made the game before the PS5 pro, maybe, just maybe, it didn't change magically to support RT pro capability... not saying pro is good, it's too much expensive for what it is... but I know that devs don't bother and software when it's done, until you update or expanded it, it doesnt change, you'll only see some minor improvement only. So this test with this game is not that good.

I always thought as a kid that the fact the lava room doesn't have grates was an hint about the fact that canonically Leon is so OP in the original game that he could defeat 2 el gigantes while keeping his balance in a room where one wrong step would result anyone to fall with a leg in the lava

The remake is full of cut contents, changes, characters and villains that feel a lot less charismatic and interesting (with the only exceptions of ashley and luis), aim with tremors and with the feeling of leon be heavy and having clunky movements to make the game feel harder. I'd rather play the original any day

In VR it makes a difference for sure and that's the only reason I bought it for. But for TV gaming... come on, it's a scam. I have an 65 oled and can't spot the difference at normal view distance. Also raytracing is nothing compared to a mid range PC. Not worth the upgrade from a standard PS5 if you're not into vr. But even in vr the difference is minor if you don't have the comparison and if you're not affected by motion sicknes like me. GT7 for example looks more clear but if you don't try it on the pro the ps5 is just fine. The difference was more evident on the ps4 pro compared to the standard ps4

Where are you supposed to even download and play the HD mod?, I tried doing it before but I had to have a second app that wouldn't even download the mod so I just gave up from there.

@RE4-Station I've used that Mega upload link. I had to download the app for mega and when I tried downloading the mod. The mod apparently over exceeded the file amount Mega gives to download files and I couldn't download the mod unless I upgraded to premium.

@@TheRE4Channel I did see another way to download the mod but it also required some sort of account and subscription fee in order to use it. Not sure about the third one. Wish it was easier to download like uploading it on Google drive or just uploading the mod to moddb or Nexus mods

Keeping tradition of putting a Resident Evil 4 on every console. I gave him credit they could have easily have just said no way what the PlayStation 4 but figuring they could sell more they put it on the PS4 so now it's a PS4 and the PS5. By the way I have played Resident Evil the original on PS2 PS3 PS4 and PS5. While playing the Remake on PS4 and PS5

I swear it was only like that on PS2 and the 2007 PC port. I think I remember aiming at them during the day time years ago but no. They only show up in the Project HD mod version.

I have the PS5 that I bought new back in 2023 last time I saw brand new PS4 at my local Walmart was probably back in January or February 2024 almost a year ago
