Is there ANY way without adapter to leave MBA OPEN with internal display OFF to use MBA's INTERNAL Touch ID/keyboard/mouse with 2 external displays? Any solutions to this using 3rd party software to "trick" MBA/MacOS ibto doing this? Any chance Apple itself will update software to turn off MBA internal display while MBA open to allow this?

Thank you for contacting Plugable! We would expect the UD-6950PDH to be compatible with Windows laptops that support USB-C Power Delivery Regarding a USB switch, unfortunately Plugable does not offer a USB-C "A/B" switch that allows for a USB-C device to be toggled between computers. While we are always working on new products, our current USB3-SWITCH2 is not compatible with USB-C devices. Sorry to be the bearer of disappointing news, but hopefully this information was helpful. Each display you add will grab some memory from the laptop or desktop. With a lot of displays that means there is less memory to run the apps themselves. I think there would be a cut off point where it no longer makes sense to add more displays. What that limit is would depend on how much memory there is in the machine and what apps you want to run and the resolution of the displays. But it's a nice idea. I do have 8 monitors at home, but they are on different machines. Some paired and some stand alone.

I already have a two-monitor dock at work, but I need to add a third. Can I use the USB-C to add a separate monitor apart from the dock? It's a very small monitor, 2x3 inches, that I use to display one piece of information throughout the day.

The USBC-7IN1E can be used to add an additional monitor to you existing setup depending on the specifications and capabilities of your laptop. The USBC-7IN1E requires a full featured USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt in order to deliver video over HDMI. Please keep in mind that the monitor must also support an HDMI video input and your laptop must support a full feature USB-C port. Actual resolution is directly determined by the DisplayPort version installed on your laptop. Please feel free to reach out to our support team for any additional questions or concerns.

**after 3 years:** I’m looking for a USB-C switcher that allows me to connect my USB-C EarPods to both my Mac Mini (for WhatsApp/Zoom calls) and my Pixel 7 Pro (for cellular calls). Here are the specifics of my setup: **Mac Mini:** Running macOS Ventura, primarily used for WhatsApp and Zoom calls. Pixel 7 Pro: Running Android 13, used for regular cellular phone calls. **USB-C EarPods:** Standard USB-C EarPods with built-in microphone. **Requirements:** The switcher should support seamless switching between devices without needing to unplug and replug the EarPods. It should also maintain audio quality and microphone functionality across both devices. Does anyone know of a USB-C switcher that can handle this setup?
