Not bad for an Aussie Playschool entertainer!

This song requires effective sound engineering. And even here they failed - it devolves into a muddle of noise. Everyone cannot be singing at the same level, the background babble of singing has to be surpassed so that the parts that are supposed to be intelligible are actually intelligible. Bring the featured voices "forward" and put the rest into "the background," by balancing the loudness of the different voices. What I would like to hear is each important snippet of the already established songs over a background of the combination of the other songs. Instead, it is a barely intelligible mish-mash of noise.

I don't think many people think about this but I'm just going to say it. Valjean, he broke the law and all savert is trying to do is lock him because he broke the law. And the entire musical is in Valjeans's perspective so if you think about it, savert is sorta the protagonist

A performer this great can make you believe in Javert's humanity and be utterly transported into the depth of his universe. Philip Quast creates a Javert whose powerful vision reaches us and moves us. No better Javert exists.

We saw Les Mis in its first week at the Barbican, with Patti Lupone as Fantine, Roger Allan as Javert and Frances Ruffelle as Eponine. One Day More remains the outstanding song to end the first half of any show ever. The only one that has come close recently is “There’s a Storm A’Comin’ from Standing at the Sky’s Edge. That finishes early in August, but if you’re in London I thoroughly recommend it.

This is not singing… this is telling by words and by feelings the story of the moment. Of all the Stars version i have heard, this for me is the Javert of Le Mis.

Russell Crowe ruined the movie, he can’t sing. Wonderful actor, but can’t sing for crap.

I was fortunate enough to see him twice in London. My husband and I always refer to him as the REAL Javert.

2014 my senior year of high school I took a drama class. While we never actually did any stage plays my teacher exposed us to several great musicals and movies I've never heard, Les Miserables was one and I loved it so much I shared it with my sister and now every time we see each other we sing this 😂❤️
