Ive played both games, but to both "The City Must Survive" and this made me well up in tears, is a gross understatement. Ive been through a lot of crap growing up. Im through to greener pastures now...but I always had this "Hopeless but defiant" feeling going through it all. Even though everything logically told me it was FUBAR'D, i just couldnt help but say "sod that im gonna try anyway" in spite of all the odds. Ive never been able to define the feeling properly... The City Must Survive & Anger Encapsulate the feeling perfectly. And im grateful the tracks exist.

This track did make it, but the beta soundtracks sound very different from the official versions. This track was its own track in the beta, however it's the finale to "Old City, New Faces" officially

Playing this game after playing the first game is so damn cool, seriously they did well on this game, and that’s rare, for a dev team to stay true to their games roots and keep their standards up, it’s rare in the gaming industry and for that so long as they keep it up these developers will always have my respect and support.

Yeah, the beta sound track has more soul to it imo, sounds a lot more powerful than the final track.

I personally think both soundtracks are about as good as each other, but it's like trying to compare apples to oranges. They're both meant to convey different things, so comparing them to eachother is very difficult. I think they both portray what they were trying to go for very well.

@@demonicflames1678 FP 1 is about survival more than politics, so the emotion conveyed in the osts are...purer, easier for the listener to understand and resonate with. FP 2 on the other hand, the OSTs reflect the relationships between multiple factions and their complex motivations playing tug-of-war in the soundtrack. Personally I also prefer FP 1's soundtrack for that desperate, raw emotional purity. FP 2's OST is over the place because of the nature of the game's setting, it's very fitting, but I also find it much harder to enjoy as a result.
