Hello, is there a port schedule that shows cruise ship port dates so to avoid those days to visit key west? Thanks for your tips and suggestions. What about a ferry boat to key west from West Palm Beach, is that a thing?

Okay so I just looked into this! If you do a web search you can find the port schedule online! There are no ferries to west palm but there is one from fort Myers area!!!

How bad are the crowds on the island? Got lucky with a last minute seaplane trip, but it leave at 12pm, so the ferry crowds are already there.

Honestly not bad, truly. I usually do the 10am plane so I leave when you arrive and by that time the boat people are already over it (by 12pm) and many are sitting in the boat for lunch. They are doing a tour with the ranger (usually finishing around then) or snorkeling on one of the beaches. But around 12:30ish seems to be when a lot get tired and I get it, considering the boat takes over 3 hours. It’s going to be epic and enjoyable for sure!!!

@FollowMeAway perfect! I wad worried spending so much on a seaplane for the most crowded hours, but that makes sense. I'm curious how many people are there to enjoy it or just go because it's touristy. This makes me think of Channel Islands NP. Half my group in the ferry were so invested and kept busy until the ferry came back, and the others were pretty much over it.

Really love this place used to come here back in 2007 and 2008 during the summer when it was like $18 per person to camp per night we used to come to Ginnie Springs during Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend it was pretty busy being it was the holiday weekend I was a teenager back then my favorite spot was the blue hole where i used to swim there with my goggles and flippers used to float down the river with my dad ,aunt and brother really enjoy this place was out here back in 2019 for my aunt’s family reunion.really want come back for the summer of 2025

Depends on your budget and what you are looking for! Key west is always a fave but it’s high season but still amazing weather. Bungalows Key Largo (video on our channel) is $$ but so worth it! Also could look into Isla Bella also in the Keys and we did a walk through in our Florida keys resorts video. You could do Mount Dora I love it this time of year and it’s super cute near Orlando! So many options! Also Saint Augustine!
