@@unknownkingdom that is in fact what happens at the title screen if you just let the song play without hitting anything. I guess I had always just unknowingly skipped it.

Pretty sure it is just "turn on" and red light. Need to click on the hanging light itself. Kind of a hard target to hit and especially in the dark, but just keep hovering the cursor in that general area until "red light" shows up. Don't spam clicks

Played this when it came out in '89. I was 15. I had a Tandy 1000 SL. Back then we didn't have the internet for guides and walkthrough's. I managed to complete the game back then but there were many things I missed and others that took me literal days to figure out. I remember some puzzles were obvious to me like making the lei. It came to me near instantly after picking the flowers. But once I made it it took me forever to figure what to do with it. Yet knowing I needed to sharpen the knife it took me hours over multiple days of play sessions to figure out HOW to sharpen the knife. Never did score with the lawyer woman. I had gotten the game from a local software store that rented games and I made a bootleg copy. I remember when it came to trying to get into the show with Cherri Tart I spent days looking all over the island for a magazine with the free ticket. I finally went back and re-rented the game so I could look at the manuals when I discovered it was the manuals I needed all along. That's what I got for piracy I suppose. I also remember there was more than one occasion where I had myself in a dead man walking scenario and didn't discover it until hours or even days later and had to reload old saves and replay many large portions of the game. At least they seemed large back then. Without I guide trying to figure out these adventure games by yourself made them feel like long games that were far larger than they actually were. These were great times for PC gaming.

I used to play this on my dads computer with the orange and black screen. I remember how amazed I was to see it in color. Also I’m blown away I’m watching this 15 years after you made this! Great fun watching this
