I don't expect anything other than the respect I give in return and to be paid for work that I was contracted to do or professionally engaged thereof. Definitely true about tue NH35. That's awesome you haven't had any issues. I've bought three times from, aliexpress and have had issues from a bricked movement 3 days old or 3 days after receiving it and with this piece, it became lost in transit and San Martin wasn't going to send me out another one nor refund me until I thoroughly explained to them or I dared them to violate international trade laws and regulations. Then references their subsidiary company Temu and I promise you will, be sanctioned and thus restrictions placed that I advise you either send me out another or immediately refund my card. Mysteriously this watch instantly went from lost in transit to say moving to next destination. I'm now willing to pay more if I can find it on Amazon pr watchdives.com.

I have bought one, and it did have a slight issue witb a very slightly bent hand on a subdial, was a red star 1901 with all the trimmings, ar coating lumed, swan neck on the regulator, it was very accurate too , amazing watch for the money, way better than a nh35 , i curent have a seiko 4r thats all over the place, gaining a minute a day in the cold , the 1901 was gaining 6 seconds in the cold and was pretty much dead on accurate when worn and warm and they agreed to take it back and refund no problems at all. Ended up selling it as is and never did send it but they provided a shipping label. Admittedly the watch was new and it was a cosmetic qc issue not a warranty claim per se.

However since I'm nearly 50 it 3 Doors Down type rock may sound like oldies type music to those in their 20 and 30s. @@Black_Cat_997 you could be right as there isn't any other movement that is essentially a clone of the NH35 like there ETA, SW200, and PT5000 that are all the same I presume in size dimensions. I had not ever researched the topic or more the fact that watch case inner dimensions are all based on the exact movement to the extent of being limited to just one movement alone which in this case I would have liked to had the option to have the watchmaker replace it with the SW200. I hope there is a widespread move or push for and towards the Miyota 9015 overall.

That's very well informed and I appreciate you taking the time to give such detailed and awesome insight. That's good stuff and was very interesting to read and hear. I initially wanted the original version but waited too late then it sold out and I had been searching for the original for at least the last full year. I like this one but I have not seen the original nor handled it in person. I too this past year had a three day old PT5000 totally brick on me. In fact I recently sent the piece off to a watchmaker and he is either going to possibly repair it if that is possible or I may go ahead and have him drop a SW200 in it. I like the diver. It's the Proxima 300m but the only reason I decided to get it repaired which Proxima was/is terrible because I had it for a total of 4 days and the movement quit and they were awful like most of those companies are. Proxima didn't replace it and tried to keep my money until I wrote a email to them attorney style or I should say that just conveyed or read as if they, this guy could be an attorney lol. It did change their behavior and I received a refund. I just like the blue color dial that is in the Proxima 300m and I know I would wear it due to exactly that. The blue color looks really good. You should be able to get it for roughly $235. That was the best discounted sales price I was able to get the total price down to. Ive seen it from $300 to $268 before coupons and or a sales price. I didn't think I was going to receive mine and then the manner in which when mine became lost in transit forced me to write a message that explicitly explained international trade laws and the risk of what happened to Temu to only then they agree to send me out another piece of immediately refund me. I should never have had to go to that extent when they seriously tried to turn it around upon me. It's why I at the end I recommended ordering it from watchdives.com. It was very odd to me because we spoke in great detail about it as to say I drilled him asking why only the NH35 and he said that this time around the inner casing was specifically made to the dimensions of only the NH35. I find that to be incredibly odd and it just does not make sense to me. Which then without saying to question .... Well then I wonder if there is truly an NH35 inside. I'm sure it is but I still wonder to be honest. It is a really good looking diver and the case size and lug width are nicely proportioned. I can say with certajnty that you'll love it! The bracelet is awesome!!!

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one that feels the NH35 to have ran it's course and to see it average at best when especially paired with a watch that has the exceptional fit and finish that San Martin offers with their watches. In my opinion it leaves their watches with a ton more that they should and would be that the NH35 negates and doesn't match up to the exceptional quality of fit and finish they have.

Hey brother! I appreciate your comments! You're a good man and that's a fact. These actua.lly believe it or not have a superior quality of build compared to the X Metal. They are a good bit more sturdy or solid quality of build and of course you know just like I do how awesome the build quality that X Metal Glasses are or have. These are better and extremely similar to the X Metal. If you can find a set of these at $399, I can rest assure you that they are worth every dollar and you will absolutely love them. I would recommend ordering an extra set of different color lens and earsox because .ike X Metals are and do that make it fun to collect is the ability to customize and break them down and build them back together with a totally different look. The X Metal will always be the absolute coolest Sunglasses of all time and as well incredibly refined. So theses are an extremely close second best and the only similarly engineered like X Metal Glasses made and I would have actually been a retailer for the owner in the southeast as he and got to know each other well. Long story short we had a complete plan for me to take on the entire southeastern part of the US in every aspect from marketing, being an authorized online seller and to travel and get them seen which the endgame was to get them picked up to be sold in store that would have carri3d stock which I would have 100 percent signed at least two to four in store retailers by now and had a blast because they are that well engineered and well built. Oh yeah I have some big time inside info. I have been in contact with San Martin AliExpress the last two nights and in great detail. I was going to explain this in my review but if you are about to buy one I would rather let you know now and save you money if this bothers you and will be a deal breaker that it now is for me but I found out or had to probe and literally force the guy to hit me straight. The good. This model 2nd Gen model compared to the first supposedly has a upgraded bracelet and better finishing. Better clasp. The deal breakers for me that are now frustrating late. See this is why you guys hear me speak harshly of San Martin. No doubt they make some nice watches but they withhold vital information on purpose and I have videos from way back that are about how they are flat out sneaky bastards. They know or they knew that what I'm about to disclose would or it definitely would have not been good for this particular diver selling well. However be sneaky and dont mention it and most guys will presume it to be the exact same but a different movement. Well yes indeed a different movement which this time around only the NH35 which it's cool but to be honest, that movement in my opinion has played out. San Martin told me that no other movement can be installed in this batch 2nd Gen. Like you, I have seriously searched for this piece the original model for nearly a year and a half. I would have gotten the SW200 model. So you can't drop a superior movement in it. It was made specifically for the NH35. The case as a result is not the exact same as the first model although it's still 44mm. It has some small case design differences. I tried like hell to get more info out of the San Martin guy. I think it now has a thinner case. Seems like he eluded to it having some different faceted edges. So the major negative is if you really liked the first one then this one isn't the same. Secondly, you will be stuck with a movement that no longer has any market desire or appeal because he said the inner case will not fit the SW200, the PT5000 nor the Miyota 9015. Man it makes me mad. I know that disclosing information like that would not be something any brand would disclose. It just took the wind out of my sail due to how long I have been searching for what I thought I was buying. One that was identical to the original. They are the same but they also are different and for me that is a bad thing. I totally had plans to have a SW200 put in this one. He raved about the bracelet. Thats great. I look forward to seeing it. I however don't really care much for the NH35 anymore. I have a watch right now that has the NH35 that I've not had long and it's losing a minute a day. One of my Helm divers arrived losing 28 seconds a day NH35 which I want to say and Matt is top class. He replaced the entire watch for me immediately. I want to also note that on a good note and a positive for San Martin that I asked the San Martin guy would he mind putting the one he sends on the time graph before he ships it and he did and even sent me photos of the time it was keeping in 4 positions. So I know I'm receiving one that will be keeping within plus 3 seconds a day. That's great. I just wished I had known that with this 2nd gen you can't drop a superior movement in. My mistake will be here in just a few days just in case or if you were about to buy. I'll have a video uploaded the same day mine arrives just in case you want to see the changes before you buy. @@TheDiveWatcher Thx for detailed info, ya I had the same idea, to put a different motor in it at some point....that may have made me reconsider things. I have some NH35 that seem to do well on my timegraph, but others that are brutal. I'll have to search for those reviews of the original iteration...I'm starting to think the case profile is smaller than before and the 44mm bezel overhangs watch more now? It also appears that the date window is closer to outer perimeter of dial? It looked unbalanced before as the date window seemed too close to center vs hour index (that's what kept me from buying before tbh)...maybe the nh35 gives a wider date wheel?...but i suspect the dial is slightly smaller now? The case thinness that precludes upgrading to many movements seems like poor engineering choices....SM does have the 'tiny watch disease' that a lot of co. have now...maybe they were hell bent on appeasing the tiny watch people by making it a lot lighter rather than reducing overall 44mm. Thx again.

Looks like the original was SN0009-G now it's the SN0009-G-B....just noticed they dropped the drilled lugs too. One guy that reviewed the original G model calipered it at 13.4mm thick...that's what's quoted on the new version also, that's odd. Wrt bracelet, the new one seems to have 3 piece links and the original actually had 5 piece links...the polished sides of the center links were separate segments on the old one. Also now it has a full 300m rating whereas G model had 200m.
