Hey, loved the way you presented🙌! I'm not really sure if it is the best time to ask but, I was wondering if I could help you create a better distribution by working on post-production like better storytelling through Edits, Keywords, think catchy intros and outros, or even some engaging short clips! Would love to chat if you're interested and keep creating good content:)

We have a couple of clustered med fan palms trees that we recently cut some of trunks close to ground level because they were outgrowing and pushing the glass fence in our backyard. Are they growing back eventually? Are those freshly cut trunks prone to infection? Should I use pruning sealer on them? Thanks

Very interesting. what about tree injection in palms? Can we prevent the potential rot expansion that might be triggered by the drilled holes?

In this scenario though wouldnt plywood and a loader have been cheaper for you? Looked like there was access in the front, even if you had to remove and replace a bush or two. Just curious what the conditions were that led to a crane being used? Cool footage though!

Thank you for a great, well informed video. I have a question if I may: Once you've pulled the spear out and poured copper sulphate solution into the crown, how long should you leave it for and how many times should this be done? Also do you need to then dry out the crown and keep it dry or cover it? Many thanks.

I've figured out why some think they should cut the tops of their palms off: They're confusing palm trees with cordylines. I only learnt tonight that my 'palm trees' were actually cordyline australis (NZ cabbage trees), which CAN be cut back after a frost, and will often sprout new growth from the bottom or along the trunk. Most of the videos I've watched tonight (and I've watched a LOT - it's past 2am here) don't make the distinction, so people think they need similar treatment. I hope this helps

Is that a mule palm? Almost looks like a Beccariophoenix Alfredii as well.

Never thought I would see mule palms so large available. They must have been planted out right at the beginning of production of that hybrid years ago. I bet they are some of the oldest in existence. On the other hand , that mule/ butia duo looks kinda dorky - looks like they were planted close and never thinned. Two different trees that are visually similar and of similar height looks like a design mistake to me

Great video! Ive just experienced a cold snap with a overnight low down to 8 deg, I pre- wrapped the spear area of my mule palms and Washingtons with a pipe heater then trunk wrap, then a layer of burlap, and an outer layer of a moving blanket. On some I still experienced foliage damage all the way down to the new growth. Im planing on preemptively starting a treatment. How often do perform the treatment on the crown while trying to save a palm ?

I have 3 queen palm trees. The fans are growing but not opening up like they should. Too much water or not enough? Also, my dog chewed a little bit of the truck base, which I now have protected. Will it fill in with new growth?

So don't cover with mulch, but could you put a plant that likes to hug around the roots, like rodadendem or something like that? Not sure I. Selled that right.

You guys really have even the craft of trimming a trunk down to an art form! I am a "liker" and subscriber from Lake Charles, LA (solidly subtropical climate) and know "more than your average bear" about palms. I've been a tropical plant grower - both indoor and out - off and on for several years now. Right now (April 26, 2022) I'm in the process of "hatching" 4 young plumeria cuttings I've had for about a month now I got from a vendor off of Etsy. I'm growing them in clear "SoLo" size plastic cups until they're large enough to put into pots. No more cold weather here until the late fall, so I have them outside on a patio. Watching them "sprout" from cuttings is fascinating. One has already sent out 2 leaves and another (the rainbow "flavor") is putting out a flower stalk (inflourescence) as its first rattle out of the box! It's still hasn't bloomed yet, but I know by the looks of it what it is and can't wait! 😁

Because of a health issue I was unable to work in my yard for a couple of years so I didn’t notice that my palm had split open! But, I DID notice it had swallowed up some decent sized decorative rock and some small planted pots. It’s crazy. The roots just grew over everything in its sight.

Can a cabbage stump be killed if you say nail a larger diameter piece of plywood on the top? Or do you know of an easy way to destroy one next to a pecan tree?
