I watched the entire Dragon Ball anime in my 30s, so no nostalgia factor here. I thought it was as interesting and exciting as the rest of the series'. I really liked how it begins feeling like the og Dragon Ball, with adventure of hunting down the balls, and then turns into more of a Z with long and high-stake climactic battles. It was pretty weird how the anime gave an actual ending to everything, not setting up continuation for Goku, but yeah, still very good.

It's unlisted at the moment. I'm still wondering what it is I should do with it because A. I think the video should have probably been made without the controversy section (as it wasn't my strongest argument, not my best presentation of character, and doesn't hold super strong IMO) and B. Wasn't the biggest fan of the kind of traction it generated. So I'm toying with the idea of keeping it as is unlisted or editing that controversy bit out and marking it back as public.

Super (before Broly) is Mid but it's objectively far better than GT. But Post-ToP Super is actually alot better than given credit for. DBS Broly is the best movie in the franchise, and the Moro & Granola arcs are better written than the Android & Buu Sagas.

As good as Godzilla Minus One was, and I liked the concept of Godzilla purposely attacking humans and keeping us on our toes, nothing beats the awe I felt leaving the movie theater after seeing Shin Godzilla in 2016. It was, to this day, the most breathtaking iteration of the beast. The power, the helplessness of the military, the modern take on what Godzilla would actually be yet still maintaining it's initial idea and form. Chef's kiss, honestly.

Justin you cant really compare the fight and animation between a theatrical release and a series. Thats so unfair, obviously the movie is gonna be better. Battle of Gods was a good arc, its short they made the build up of beerus even better, the stakes was better, the buildup to ssg was better even tho obviously it had a longer run time, and the story is practically the same. The only difference is the slice of life in the beginning and the animation

I have to disagree. If the Tournament of Power showed us anything, it's that the series can very much have moments of beautiful animation and fights that I'd honestly say eclipsed anything we'd seen from the movie barring Super Broly. The issue here was time. Just look at Daima for an even better example. Each episode- each FRAME- has better quality than something like Resurrection F. I also laid out my points for the series and it's "expansion" of BoG and Resurrection F already. So I'll have to disagree there, too. I get absolutely nothing that changes anything in a meaningful or impactful way.

I didn’t find out about GT until Kai was running. after it ended, I wanted more. I remember finding out there was a 4th super saiyan. that was all I cared about. this show was so good to me at the time and i still own the box set… though i dont fault anyone who hates it, when i look back at it 😂

Honestly, no. Yes, the first few eps are... pretty bad, but everything baby arc and onwards was pretty good IMHO. It has issues, yes, but not enough for me to hate it outright (hell I love Uub and his character as a whole, I like the SSJ4 transformation, and I actively use one of Omega Shenron's moves in Xenoverse 2)

It's not perfect, but I find GT better than Super on many levels (more original/innovation, more serious stakes, one SINGLE, transformation that finally completes the SSJ circle, etc.)

Gt is good, not trash not terrible not the besy thing, but average good. Has good points has bad points. Simple as that, it even has an ending. Id say thats pretty cool (no super is not trash, super is good too, but super fans please stop being toxic)
