I really wish you would have showed the steps you took in detail. I’m a first timer in fixing a rust out and have hard to reach rust on the underlying layer of steel and I’m not sure how to fix it to stop the rust from continuing. I am not able to weld and will be using steel mesh, bondo glass and regular bondo to attempt to fix the hole. There’s rust I can’t get to without removing good steel from the outer body so I’m going to use my rust brushes to reach as far back as possible, then spray it all with my rust converter. I’m not sure what else I can do since I can’t weld and have never done this before.
