Not hitting the sea wall is the real dub for him. It’s these humble learning experiences that helps you be better in a hobby or skill set. Going forward I’m sure he won’t approach a bridge that close until he checks his height measurements and etc.

@@nr875 Depends on many things actually Waves , direction , wind and size of the boat Larger waves you should throttle down and hit the wave at an angle . If you don’t know what you’re doing please hire a charter. My father spent 30 years in th US Coast Guard and I spent 20 years in the US Coast Guard. I’ve been on or around the ocean and intercoastal my entire life (52 years ) .

I love watching wealthy people from Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas come to Cocoa Beach and rent these boats. And then have to be rescued by the Coast Guard after they realize that this isn’t the little lake they grew up on in the Midwest .
