In the Moza pithouse software, there is an option to “configure” each detected racing game. It’s on the right side of the app.

We would typically turn it on during taxi/ground ops. Aside from actual icing conditions in flight.

Fire 🔥 do you recommend that steering wheel or is it tooo big? I have heard mixed opinions. And what about the r21? Do you think you get what you pay for?

The RS wheel is a great fit. Works great for rally and I did a good amount of oval racing with it last year. Plenty of programmable buttons as well. The R21 was a very good upgrade from the R9. The FFB detail in the r21 is very noticeable and just feels much more realistic.

Awesome, thank you very much! I have a question please, is it possible to program a parallel trajectory (offset route) for example to prevent flying into a thunderstorm? And when programming a visual approach, can I force the autopilot to follow down that virtual glideslope to make it behave exactly like the FLS flight landing system of the Airbus 320 that can VNAV down and autoland on runways without ILS?

@@juliashenandoah3965 yes you can offset a route. On the FMS: FPL > OFFSET eg: L1.5 (or 1.5L) = left of course 1.5nm As for an autoland on a virtual glide slope, I don’t think it’s possible, but don’t quote me on that. I’ve only ever tried it with an ILS glide slope.

Thank you very much for this tutorial vid! The Challenger FMC is very different from the Airbus MCDU and it´s more sophisticated features cannot be learned by simply trying.

I can pretty much guess you may not be much interested in civil flight sim at this point but... I just wanted to express that I'd love to see you revisiting the last XP12 AFL KA350. It does behave completely different to its XP11 counterpart. It would be great to see how you feel about it. Probably doesn't need to be a complete tutorial series like you already did, instead, taking it for a spin would be enough to get a feel for it. Cheers!

Thanks for stopping by. I stopped flying the 350 at the end of 2021 and moved back into jets, thus my KA350 knowledge is currently lacking. 🤔 but I would imagine much of the systems is all the same in the XP12 version so the same procedures should apply. But yeah I’ve taken a break from XP. Probably get back into it soon along with MSFS2024. Curious to see how the FS24 king air flies compared to their 2020 version which I did a “review” vs reality a while back.

Nice rig!! You’re missing one thing though. Headtracking. Let’s you look into the corners and 360 around the car. I use track ir in flight sims. It’s expensive for what it is but there’s way cheaper options

@@davidbradley3227 Thanks. I do have Track IR and VR, but what you don’t see in the video is that I have an ultra wide monitor which lets me see the side area and mirror. I’ve tried racing with track IR, but it’s a bit distracting for me.

Is Dirt Rally 2 better than EA WRC? Which one do you recommend?

I enjoy both. Most will say DR2.0 is better and I would tend to agree. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. If you can own both, go for it. DR2 is fairly cheap these days.

@@chazflyz I loved Colin McRae Rally 2.0 and then CMRR 2005. I enjoyed Dirt 4 too but didn't have time for rally since then. But I did buy DR1, DR2, EA WRC, WRC 8, 9, 10 and Generations. When I see a good game at a low price I buy it just in case I want to start playing. Now I have time but not for all of them. They say WRC Generations is super with all the cars and tracks from previous versions. EA WRC is much easier. In DR 2 cars are very difficult to turn with heavy under steer. How can you play it despite that? Which one is best for beginners? And what is your opinion about WRC series, especially generations? Thanks for your advice.

Hey. I haven't flown the 350 in a few years. Moved on since but I do recall 1 or 2 of our 350s rocking in descent, notably at high speed.

can you release 4 bombs simultaneously, for example: Bomb 1 - Stpt 26 Bomb 2 - Stpt 27 Bomb 3 - Stpt 28 Bomb 4 - Stpt 29 In the video u release one and change the stpt, but can you assign each stpt to each bomb and release all 4 of them at the same time?

No, unfortunately you cannot release all 4 JDAMs simultaneously. It can only be done in the manner depicted in the video.

It's almost embarrassing how dumbed down the FS2020 version of the KA 350i is in comparison to this model. I wish there was an accurate study-level version of the new KA 360 at some point for FS2020 or FS2024 when it drops this November!
