Great video, you should try and find out the pressure of the tank when the water starts over flowing the pipe too switch 12v presure switch on and compress it into tank with a regulator, think youll need another pressure swich to switch it off

Is the microwave running with nothing in it? I think a cup of water is safer. Nice video and explanation.

You need a storm door to block water getting in that groove and track.

The only time batteries are happy is when you go away for a couple days. I've been telling people this for years. Charge controller diversion is the goober way to heat water. I sense PV voltage and when it goes over the natural power point voltage, there is energy that can be diverted be it 5W to 1500W. A proportional controller diverts just enough to bring the panels back to power point. No charge controller, inverter or battery resources are used. Everyone in solar wants easy brain dead solutions so they don't have to think. A true diversion system is amazing to watch in action. I'll be referring your video. I'm tired of trying to explain this to people.

can U set the Inverter to Power Load using PV as priority and Only when the PV power is larger than Load, it will Charge the Battery ??

@@ModernOffGridDIY I use Techfine Inverter.. and When SoC of battery less than 70%, all PV power will be used to charge Battery. and Load Using Grid/Utility. only after SoC of battery higher than 70%, inverter switched to DC mode.. and on DC mode utility will be ignored totally.. all power taken by Battery and PV . and I am not Happy because I want it can power Load from PV even the battery still Lowly charged

This is one of the best KZbin presentations I have seen. This guy speaks well and tells you everything you need to know about changing out a seat in a Bobcat 743. He should run for Congress.

Great video! I’m curious as to the size of wire you ran in the conduit? The conduit looks fairly small for that far of a run. Sizing my system now.

I use a wire size gauge Calculator to make sure all wire size voltage amp and wire run are safe. I never do a project without it.

Lovely. I have another idea too. That crawl space underneath the digester panel frame? Any greenhouse material left? Cover up the sides of the panel frame, add a few nesting boxes and pop in a few hens. Let them roam the yard daily. Free range eggs, extra brilliant manure for the veggies planned, and NO snails or bugs in the veggie patch. Also, if you add a rooster.....no 'alarm clock" needed to wake up! 😆Happy days, enjoy!

I know this old. but replaced my limit switch in the arms fm502.. 3 times in 7 years. Always fixed the problem.. until now. intermittently my slave side would close all the way. I would re program the close .. then good for a while. Just found out the slave button for programing on the green board is malfuctioning. I think it was shorting out.. causing a reprograming at will. i pryed it up a bit, and seems to be working. new boards are expensive. I will resolder later if needed. just a fyi

wow, I have had prob, but it is due to not keeping the unit maintained and cleaned. 30 yrs going and this is the 2nd unit...a fm502 on solar. I have increased the panels and now looking to back up the existing panel with another 20A because of tree shade. I have a 12V car battery replaced a couple of times.

Single gal here. No one to help me, and I don't feel like calling the professionals for something that apparently can be fixed easily, cheaply, and quickly by myself. Tired of problems. It's been over a year, two door sweepers later. I hope that after watching this video, I'll finally succeed in fixing my door once and for all. 😖

Yep, was wondering… as you read through all the comments, he responded to some ppl. A lot of ppl have put on storm doors. His fix worked on some and not on others. It’s very disheartening to see that there is not a REAL true fix… it works for some but not others… good luck to everyone

Technically, it is the lower AMPERAGE panel that is the restricting factor. The voltages can be different and will still add together but the new series array will be limited at the amperage rating of the lowest amperage panel.

I have a similar system with the same Outback Gear and Solar and Wind power. I use a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) TAPERING load diversion system that can divert up to 120 amps..IT doesn’t cycle the batteries at all..just diverts extra power from the wind. You can use a Xantrex C60 for Tapering Pulse Width Modulation and Load Diversion…no relays at all needed and lower cost.
