Hi....being a non US citizen, how would u tip the helpers who help with luggage and the cab driver and anyone else who helps?

I just booked St Lucia at La Toc. I didn’t even think about a converter!

I'm still watching your video in its entirety, but what I've seen so far, their buffet certainly is set up differently from our 7 past Sandals visits, most recently St Lucia a week ago. And I agree that the Parasol menu is somewhat limited to "artsy" types of food dining options. I do like the family style concept at Buccan, as that's a great way to meet others. You guys did a fantastic job at narrating the culinary options for St Vincent & we're looking forward to our visit, even if it's not until mid January in 2026!

Great video. I have seen all of your Grenada videos. Going for 10 days in May 2025. Previous Sandals were Grand St Lucia and Antigua. Also visited La Toc Looking forward to this one.

How about the off resort activities? What is nearby to do/explore?? I’m going back and forth on this one vs St Lucia, because it has the park/hiking next door.

You two need to check out Secrets Playa Blanca. The properts is as nice if not better. The beach and ocean arent as great as Akumal but everything else is on par.

Would this floor be better than the swim up first floor? No door on the toilet area?

I appreciate your honesty. Love Sandals, but most videos about their resort and services tend to feel like infomercials. For paid excursions, I tend to look elsewhere than Island Routes, because many competitors offer very good services and at lower prices (that was our experience in Curaçao). We will definitely look into the sculpture park when we will visit Grenada!

Did I miss a comment about the beach? How was the beach? :)

Just stayed a few weeks ago! The resort was beautiful, but they were out of so many different food items - and more importantly, pina coladas! It got a little frustrating towards the end of our stay, but we had a great time otherwise.

Nice video. Seems weird (not in a bad way) to be at a resort that seemingly empty - most all of our Sandals trips have been during February or Easter school breaks and all of our Beaches trips have been in July or August, and the resorts have been basically full every time. With the lower occupancy were all of the restaurants and activities fully open or did they have closed days or reduced hours?

Great video! I was on the transatlantic on Oasis of the Seas and ate at Playmakers a couple of times. The Ahi Tuna nachos were amazing. Those regular nachos looked really good, too. I'll be on the Icon later in 2025 and look forward to trying them. Thanks for explaining how the Pearl is an architectural feature. I didn't realize that. The ship is absolutely gorgeous. How crowded were the specialty restaurants? I usually book them the minute I get on the ship, but sometimes I like to do a last minute dinner at a specialty restaurant. That aqua dome is phenomenal! Where do they show movies?

Sandals South Coast is our least favorite. We went in summer 2023. Having to leave the resort 5 hours early is just unacceptable. Our initial transfer was during a rainstorm and we made it in 1.5 hours. We were lucky, the couple we met arrived 4 1/2 hours later because of a fallen tree. I know those things aren't the resort's fault, but its location is not one that we enjoy. We just finished Sandals Barbados & Royal Barbados and that is our favourite along with Sandals Royal Plantation.

How did you like the balcony over the park? Thanks for sharing info on the Royal up bid. I've put in dozens and never got accepted, many were well into the "fair" range of the bid meter. I was starting to think that they were BS.

Your lists are both pretty good and not off ours. We don't go to St. Vincent until April (only Sandals we have not visited - some we have visited (La Toc, Halcyon & Ochi) and not stayed), so can't comment on it - but are hopeful it will be great. Our top 12 in order are: 1. South Coast, 2. Dunn's River, 3. Royal Barbados (we likely would never stay in Sandals Barbados but it is part of the same resort and adds a lot to the experience), 4. Royal Bahamian (loved the island), 5. Grenada, 6. Montego Bay, 7. Curacao, 8. Grande St. Lucian, 9. Negril, 10. Royal Caribbean, 11. Antigua, and 12. Regency La Toc. We are beach people so both Royal Barbados and Antigua (public beaches) plus Curacao (no real beach) were lower than the resorts might be for pool people.

My favourite universal hotel. Always stay here when I fly over the pond. I come for 10 nights n book 9 at Cabana Bay n 1 night at the cheapest rate hotel for the express pass 😊 Top tip tho.....walk across the bridge to sapphire falls n get the boat. U go thu security at the hotel n avoid the main hub. 😊

The cold plunge pool at Sandals Dunn's River was my favorite way to start the day. Glad to hear St. Vincent has the same setup! :)

How much time should I allocate to going on the skyride? I plan to go in the early morning without the royal Caribbean excursion. We will be in port on memorial day so there will probably be the maximum amount of ships.
