I always assumed gremlins were _much_ older than that, and somewhat akin to goblins, trolls, gnomes, or fairies and whatnot. I'm surprised to find out they have a copyright and yet appear in both Disney _and_ Warner Bros. media... like Witch Hazel. Of course, she takes things a step further by having both characters voiced by June Foray (at least initially).

the cat was in some later Oswald shorts as a love interest, but she had a different name there (though I can't remember her original name off the top of my head). Apparently, the developers renamed her Ortensia so her name would start with the same letter as Oswald, like Mickey and Minnie or Donald and Daisy do.

i still have the Epic Mickey graphic novel. the brazilian version also have the Prequel tales in it. back then it was the only way for me to learn more about the universe of Epic Mickey since the game wasn't for PC.

As much as I dislike the second game, I would not be mad if they decided to remake it like the first one. I loved Prescott’s character and the voice acting! Oswald’s voice is perfect.

I hope the Rebrushed game helps us get Epic Mickey 3. I always wondered as a kid what the Petes were up to at the end of the game. Then Power of Illusion happened, and while I really like that game, I wish we had gotten more of a proper 3rd game.

IMO what killed the Franchise was the multiplayer co-op focus of the second game, instead of focusing on what made the first one great

as an epic mickey 2 defender, i would say that after seeing a bit of the story from the first game the game is a bit patchy and glitchy but i will say that the glitches were very rare on my like 3 playthroughs as a kid

Even though I don’t think it would ever get made but it would be so cool if someone really went all in and used the old horrifying concept arts and used all of the scrapped levels to make it a dark Epic Mickey. It would be cool but I don’t think that would ever happen

I was 8 when I feel in love with this game back in 2010, I’ve been die-hard ever since and this game still amazes me; from the content, story, setting ex. It’s absolutely fascinating

It was intended to be a Wii exclusive until Junk Point Studios announced the HD versions because since the first game sold 2 million copies worldwide. The HD versions are basically remastered from the Wii version which was used as the beta version which is why its graphics are somewhat inferior. The Sorcerer's Apprentice costume was decided to be included last minute. Also, Wii version did have exclusive artwork on disc as well as three save slots. You can also still free roam the game after completing and continue on the side quests. The HD version you had to start from the beginning.

It's fun how this one game, has brought together so many people. I too also haven't finished Power of Illusion, and at least one of my copies of Epic Mickey probably does not work.

i hope epic mickey 2 gets as remake, i have been trying for years to at get 100 but i always get the black pearl bug, even on both my physical and digital copies.

I do wish Oswald kept his cynical edge he had in the first game, he's not only too nice now but he is way too trusting of the mad doctor too

Disasters can be a reason to renovate parts of the city. Look at the 1745 Lisbon heartquake, due to the disaster they remodeled and changed the layout of various parts of the city. So maybe they did the same in Epic Mickey 2. Plus carachters can change so it isn't far fetched to undeŕstand Oswald's trust in Mad Doctor.

The first graphic novel as well as two of the Wasteland Tales were on comiXology too, and the second graphic novel was fully in English on Hoopla from Disney. I'm really sad that no one archived it. Even myself I was painstakingly screenshotting every Mickey comic book I could, but with my library card it only allowed me 5 books per months, and I was keeping the best, Epic Mickey 2, for last. And on precisely the last month when I was going to do it any day, the Disney license with Hoopla abruptly ended and it got taken down.

I've always been fascinated with the gremlins ever since I played epic mickey as a kid. I love how adorable their deisgns are, and seeing the girl and baby ones desperately makes me want more from them. They have so much potential, and I hope Disney will bring them back.

Some info i can give as a polish person This version was widely available here lol im shocked to see its considered rare As for the polish dub for some weird reason it wasnt in the steam version Nor the subtitles were ...atleast for a while They added it back in like 2021 i think? Em2 had some patches in that time frame and looking back it was probably around when rebrushed development started so the ones patching it was none other than purple lamp The polish dub is overall very good one of the few games that i always replay with a pl dub

I adore this game so muchhhh 😭😭 as a kid it scared/unnerved me but I liked it, the general atmosphere of the game is what creeped me out but god I LOVED IT!!! and I rlly connected with it :) it got me loving art and creating art. I have so much hidden memories of this game that’s fuzzy now since I’m older :( I especially love Oswald so much, he means so much to me

Something that bugs me the most is that PETE PAN SHOULDN'T BE A BAD GUY!!! Out of all the Petes, he was genuinely a hero, so why is he being such a dickhead and making you pay to get by, and more importantly why is Pete Pan joining Big Bad Pete to do some evil shit at the end? Hell, ONLY Big Bad Pete can likely be evil, Small Pete wasn't really mean, just upset of the whole misunderstanding between him and the Gremlins, Petetronic was actually cool too, in charge of Tomorrow City, only evil because of getting corrupt, and you redeeming him gets him back to normal, I don't see...ANY of the Petes besides Big Bad Pete possibly doing any evil shit, and even that's a stretch, because if you DO choose to help out his family in Epic Mickey 1, he starts being much nicer to people.
