Is any of this track still existing to see? Or only near the Tavares museum?

I believe trackage west and north of Tavares is completely out of service, save an industry on the north side of town.

I see 4419 all the time. To correct you on somethin' 4419 a GP40. She's based out of Lima, Ohio as of writing this, and runs the Wapakoneta Local Wednesday's and Saturdays, which means she passes right in front of my home! And still wears the Yn2 paint scheme.

If you ever do another trip to the Pittsburgh line, first of all, see if you can get a room at the Station Inn in Cressen.. It is right on Front Street about 150 ft off the mainline. Secondly,, between Gallitzin and Cresson, you cross over the tracks on what some call the Rte 53 Bridge. It is well worth some time spent there.

I totally forgot you went to Montana! I recently went there on vacation, and saw a number of trains going over Marias Pass (8 in one day while driving to and from Glacier National Park). Tons of rail traffic out that way, it turns out.
