I've been fortunate enough to see 611 in person twice at the Strasburg Rail Road: first in 2019 and again in 2021. Actually managed to get an Engineer's Seat ticket for the In-Cab Experience in 2021 (most amazing thing I've ever done!) I'd love to see her operating at main line speed someday. Both times I saw her at Strasburg, it was obvious that she wasn't happy putting along at >10 MPH, she wanted to RUN!

My plan was executed perfectly, caught it leaving Victoria station and hauled ass to craigsville got hik thete hauled ass to Swoope got him at the bridge and then i finally just made it to Staunton to watch it pull in. 5 times- 1 run. 💪

I was onboard the Nov. 3 morning excursion and I remember seeing your green Tacoma on the return trip at the Swoope RR crossing. I was the guy with the gray N&W jacket at 20:42 standing in the door of the N&W Powhatan Arrow passenger car.

Some trips had 611 solo on the way up. I think she reached her limit when they added more cars.
