I'm sorry - while I agree with the overall thrust of your message in the video, the fact that you never with even one word mention all the other possible causes for a loss of productivity is inexcusable. Can you imagine the damage that your video might do to someone who is in an acute phase of burnout while being gaslit by people around them (family members, their boss, a shitty medical professional) about what a normal level of productivity looks like? Or to someone who is stuck in an unhealthy pattern of comparing themselves to others and ends up on a path of self-destruction because of unrealistic expectations and self-pressure? Or to someone with ME/CFS (or a multitude of other medical conditions) who keeps getting conflicting messages that "it's all just in your head, just get your f****ing shit together already". It's perfectly fine to highlight the importance that good sleep patterns and diet have on one's well-being and productivity. And that in many cases these are indeed good things to work on that will make a big difference. And to poke good-hearted fun at all the other "advice" that is out there and the allure of thinking some simple mind trick will be enough to put everything right. But please take into consideration that as with everything to do with humans things are never this straightforward.

Getting girls is easy for certain people, especially when they look/are like you. I’ve fixed my hair best I can, I talk to people, I have friends, a job, hobbies, and goals. But I’m a bi Black dude with niche interests in a very rural and white part of Florida. Plus I just don’t have the best looking natural features. I have a big forehead and im very dark. The value of a water bottle depends on its location. It will always be worth more in an airport than a dollar store. This is how I feel about looks and attracting people. Thats why ugly white guys will sometimes go to foreign developing countries like mine cuz it’s easier to get women. Thats why sometimes I wish my parents had raised me in their home country of Nigeria instead, which is messed up cuz they brought me here for better opportunities. I’m not saying all people don’t want to date dudes of color or anything like that, but I see a lot of Indians, Chinese, Koreans, etc. in the same boat and I think it goes back to the water bottle theory.

You say to go to places to meet women. I literally live in a suburban/rural area with literally nothing to do. Where do you even meet people in such a place. Everything is an hour away and I just don't have the time to go to those places. This stupid small town I live in is filled with old boomers. I know I have to go out there and do shit, but its hard when you live in an isolated area with barely any people your age. With that "there are plenty of fish in the sea" example, it would be like fishing in a puddle surrounded by desert land. The only way out of this hellhole would be to move to a bigger city. But with inflation and shit, there is no way I'll be able to afford some place to live on my own. While I do agree that going out to places to meet with people is the way to get friends and a partner, there are a lot of circumstances that just doesn't allow you to do that very well. Hell, even if I did go to places and did shit, I would barely interact with people due to my autism. Its not that I don't want to, I'm just too focused on my own thoughts and actions to even care about other people. General advice like this is why a lot of people give up. They try so hard to do what they're told, but because they don't factor in issues outside their control, they just think it's their own fault. I'm not saying to be lazy and not to do anything about it. Just try to do your best with the circumstances at hand. I've stopped wear earbuds at stores and in public, to maybe interact with more people irl much better. I've had a few small talks but it's pretty rare in this small town.

first Bro can I have a moment? I think I can help you save your time. I will edit your daily videos, like color correction, adding captions, audio editing, cutting and transitions. And I'll do it for free. I will help you save the time which goes into editing your videos so you can focus more on scripting and recording valuable content. I'll edit some of your videos for free! and if you think that I am providing value and saving your time, we can settle on a small fee. I've been into self improvement for the past 2 years, ran my own youtube channel between 2017-2020. Been video editing on my phone since like 7 years and right now I'm a beginner at Premiere Pro and am improving my skills daily. Let me know if you want me to save your time! Besides that, keep creating this content. Have a great day ahead

@@JobeHanna Editing your videos would mean that they look better, are well paced, valuable information is being thrown at the user and the viewer is able to better absorb the lessons when their mind is fully immersed in what you're teaching. Therefore you need to edit your videos, do color grading, audio editing, subtitles, graphics, animations etc. So the viewer would better absorb your content, at the same time your audience retention would increase and your channel will grow. Although I am not an expert at it right now thats why I am willing to work for free or for as low as $1 but I invest 2+ hrs daily into learning and mastering the skill. So that I can keep contributing to your channel and elevate the quality of the content slightly with every video. You will get more immersive, engaging, higher quality videos for free. Isn't that enough of a reason to try it?
@JobeHanna
@JobeHanna 18 күн бұрын
I agree that editing my videos would help my channel grow, but that’s not why I make videos. I want an audience who likes just me sitting down and talking without needing to keep them engaged, because my target audience has the attention span to do so. If people don’t want to watch my content because of a lack of editing, I don’t want them watching. Like I said, if I change my mind I will let you know, but as of right now I don’t need any editing services.

@@JobeHanna from my humble experience, my advice for guys who rarely have any contact with girls and when they do they can't have normal interaction, i'd suggest developing relationships with their mothers or/and sisters. This way they can get comfortable over time and there isn't, as i call it, "modern sexual pressure" over it. Sigmund Freud's psychosexual theory gets into this more of why and how natural libido works. Also get off social media unless to be in contact with your friends, internet is full of sexual content prying on your primal brain for cheap dopamine which only makes the problem worse.
@JobeHanna
