I just came back from there last week and my thoughts were similar. They needed another bar by the beach. We pretty much just went to the bathroom in the ocean. It was more convenient. We were on the fifth floor at the end of one of the wings And we did a lot of stair climbing. It would have been great if they had some more elevators by the two ends of the building. The restaurants were way too busy and they only had three themed and we only went to the Italian one because that seemed to be the least busiest. The buffets were OK, but you only had the one late at night. The airport experience was horrible so I would definitely not go back to this resort, especially passing through that airport.

Regarding the food, does this RIU resort require you to eat lunch at the dine-in buffet restaurants? This is what we experienced at the RIU in Aruba, and would have preferred the option of having a separate grill adjacent to the pool for burgers, dogs, chicken, etc. This is what the RIU in Cabo had, which allowed guests to eat at their chairs at either the pool or beach. Also, do they have drink service at the beach?

What is you highest rating ever? I go to riu palace Pacifico almost every 6 months, but since it will be closed for the facelift, we’ll need to find something similar, what are my options?

Is the ocean safe to swim? I’ve heard horror stories about Cabo’s waters. Thanks

Hi, excellent video. Do you know if the rooms with two double beds have room between them like two separate beds or is it like on large bed with room for 4? We have 2 adults and 2 kids and can't figure that out.
