I guess it’s made to funnel people into the city centre rather than take them out. I live in Rotherham and it’s so much better and quicker than the buses!

How do Point changes work for different destinations.

The route is entered into the box you can see on the left. The system picks up where the tram is using sensors in the ground. It knows what tram it is and where it's going. The points change based on the information the driver puts into the box so it goes the right way.

I definitely remember the old announcements. It’s done by a new man now. The old announcer for The Blue Route was called Andy, The Purple Route Man was called Paul and The Yellow Route Woman was calling Sarah.
