Houghton was a Scotsman that we stupidly missed, but he had an Irish ancestor in the 16th century & Big Jack got him.

All fergie...one conversation to advise keane to stay would have solved everything, but he instead saw the benefit of him not playing for his man u empire and chartered a jet..... Easy see the view he had on Ireland.....imagine if it was England?

Fergie was the one who convinced Roy to stay initially when he wanted to go home. McCarthy sent Keane home after attacking him in front of his teammates and accusing him of feigning injury for different matches which Roy didn't accept and he rightly gave it back to him. Get your facts right

Niall was a decent player and seens like a very normal, decent fella!..But one thing u notice about footballers is for the most part they exist in such a bubble..And the clubs, aka ' Corporations' really could do a lot more to impress upon these guys that need to prepare for their futures!

Nothing against Fine Gael in general but we met John Bruton in 99 as students. Genuinely a horrible man, extremely rude and zero personality and proper put me off Fine Gael as a youngster . Anyways that’s just a personal opinion.
