Hmm not sure... they say its delayed spawning... but as i know that many fish dont die from that...i suspect koi virus since I took picture of carp that hit the bank and was full of white and yellow blisters

From the information I have received there has been around 500/600 deaths from KHV, which has affected many lakes in Croatia. I have been told there are over 4000/5000 fish in the lake so far from all dead

Hi Not to sure of the price to fish there as I go on an exclusive week. There is at least one booking agent for there, have a look on line for them. Although the island swims seem favourite, I've seen amazing catches from all over the lake, the carp do move a lot so I'd be quite happy fishing anywhere 👍

Hi, it will be weather dependent, but the more reliable posts would be 11 and 12, on the opposite bank 25 and 26, then there's the main point swim, can't think of the number. Having said that, fish get caught all round the lake, so don't be too disappointed if you get a low draw. Fished there in April and best tactics were lighter baiting, (fishing for a bite), and finding the shallower water in the swim 👍

Just any tips really and is the fishing hard going as we are going the start of may and can you use rowing boats there 👊🏻

Not sure about boats it depends on the rules for the week you're there. On exclusive weeks, they are generally allowed. I dont think the fishing is difficult, like anywhere there will be slow periods. Start of steady with your baiting if its fishing slow you'll struggle if you fill it in. Most swims have decent features in, giving you something to fish to.

Hi Kevin, there is no booking or company that does trips there. You have to turn up very early on a Sunday morning and register for the draw. Then it's first out first choice of swim and so on. Can be very busy now, so make sure you have a back up plan.

I was thinking about an October trip 2023 but could put it off until early next year as I'm in France April and July this year. Hi Kevin, that must be a newish thing a company doing trips there ? It would be October no question, weather starts to cool a bit then making it more comfortable. I will be there myself at the end of October this year. 👍

Hi Brian, Basic knotless knot rigs with nylon hooklinks with size 6 hooks, 14mm boilies tipped with yellow fake corn. Depth was more important I could only get bites in 9ft on the far margin. Hope you enjoy your trip, give my regards to Mehdi.
