Hello, can you tell me where the oil filter goes? I have the same machine
@petescustomcarshop2 күн бұрын
There isn't any paper filter for the oil just a screen at the pick-up. The paper filter is for the air compressor inlet.

Your toggle stick is pretty cool! Keep an eye on the main tubular hoop where it plugs into the two receivers. They tend to develop cracks. A friend had a 93 F350 with a Meyer plow. The previous owner welded the cracks. I was driving the truck one day and as I slowed to stop at an intersection the plow lights disappeared! The main hoop snapped off and was lying on top of the plow. Luckily we were near a friends shop so I pushed the plow on the bare road about a 1/2 mile. We disconnected the whole unit and came back for it later.

That's great that you got the car running! You guys must have really good engine rules. On our Nascar Weekly Racing Series Modifieds we were limited to a maximum overbore of .045. We weren't allowed to knife edge the cranks. Only balancing of the crank. Rods had to be stock appearing. Back then we had to run an unmodified cast iron 2barrel manifold with a 500 cfm Holley 4412 2 barrel carb. Lifters were flat tappet and maximum lift at the rocker was .550. We could run roller rockers. No part of the piston could be above the top of the deck. A stock appearing clutch had to be used and there was a minimum weight that it could be. The engine rules were restrictive to say the least.
@petescustomcarshopАй бұрын
Our rules for the engine are it has to be American made engine and no aluminum blocks. Single carburetor natural aspirated no nitro I think that's about it. Your rules are like the Street Stock class I use to race before the Mod. My Street Stock engine cost just as much as my Mod engine.
