You caulk the same way I did back when I remodeled houses. Buy some interior stuff for all the cracks in your house. Any crack where roaches can breed should be sealed up. Cabinets especially. When I did this there was no need to call pest control 4 times a year at our rentals. There was a time caulking contractors advertised for this, then the pest control industry lobbied congrerss to make it illegal to do so. I read this years ago in a Handyman book and it did wonders and it was one of the best gems in the whole book

I have a absorption fridge and don't run it on propane when travelling. I ran a 1ga pair to the fuse block of my truck (60a). And have a Anderson connector mounted under the rear bumper. I used another Anderson connector on the RV and dedicate it to a 40amp DC-DC converter. That goes to a power buss. From there I go to a 1kw inverter. And ran a 110vac line directly to the fridge. It draws about 500w from the inverter and around 25amps@12v from the truck. I'm just paranoid. Next I'm go to add a cutoff if the fridge if it is to far out of level like on a steep grade. You can never be paranoid enough.

I'm very grateful for your tip. Most other videos talk about water softeners, Dawn, vinegar, just to name a few. But do they take into consideration what those things do to the normal process that is supposed to happen in a healthy septic tank? I'm hooked to my own septic system (since only two months) so I must avoid destroying the useful bacteria needed! I hope this will also help with the terrible odors that I'm getting lately from the toilet. Oh my, it's horrible! So much so that I would like to be able to avoid having to use that little spot...

Maybe you cover it in another video, but we bought a used camper and had a blow-out the 1st year. Tires were 5 years and 3 months old, but looked good, to me.

What of those add-in's that pretty much eliminate the downward dump of air and solely directs your AC to the vents? Or... start with the dump and migrate, when the trailer cools down, to the vents?

I I'm think I'm that um you should mention I'm filling the vehicle tank um. Shut the fridge off while reducing, you do not want to take the chance that the pilot light will come on and possibly igniting the gas vapors around the pumps.

Somone caulked the transition trim where the rubber roof meets the trim piece along the sides of my grand design. Seems to me there shouldn’t be any there. Am i right? It’s all cracking loose. Should I clean and redo it? I just finished the front lap joint with self leveling. Looks ok. Not as smooth as the oem job.

It's important to test the voltage at the pedestal and in the camper so you can tell where the voltage drop is. If the voltage is low at the pedestal that's a grid problem, good at the pedestal but low at your outlet? You might have a problem. BTW, in the AC mode your meter won't display positive or negative since it's alternating current. 😊

I find that Oil or Lube just attracts dirt. The mechanism is such that it travels very freely with no lubricants in my experience. Just being clean and free of dirt and debris from travel keeps it working very well.

Yes, You should turn the fridge off when fueling vehicle if fridge is within unsafe open flame zone. If you are unsure, best to turn off to be safe.

Three additional points. (1) Many modern black tanks have a hose connection that you can use to flush the tank with campground water after you dump the tank. It is recommended that you use a separate hose from your freshwater hose so you don't contaminate you freshwater supply. (2) After dumping the black, dump the gray through your sewer line to flush it out, (3) When connecting the sewer hose, test it first with a the release of a little from the gray tank to make sure your hose connections do not leak.
