Great video.... Love that you go into detail about everything. It's really what it takes to actually try to accomplish the repair yoursel. SHOCKED that the owner of the vehicle didn't replace the headliner as well seeing you literally had it pulled. Curiously, Is this basically the same in a 2018 Buick Lacrosse. I have a rattle directly above my head while driving right next to the microphone and I definitely need to lower the headliner a little and see what it is. Thanks

Hello, amazing video! I have sunroof leak in back side. There is way to pull down back part of ceiling? Thank you!
@brownsburg.motorsports9 күн бұрын
@@serhiikorniichuk9754 if you have a sunroof leak than there is two possibilities either the drains on the front of the sunroof are clogged or the weather seal around sunroof is deteriorating! If it’s the first scenario grab an air gun and blow into the drains and if it’s the second scenario than you will have to pull the entire sunroof assembly to replace the seal 🥲 as far as your question yes you can keep the A pillars, sun visors and front upper light switch and remove everything else as you see in the video to drop the back end of it down! Very nice. I would have spent hours figuring that out. One question, though. Will the car start and drive with the console and control module removed? Mine needs to be reset, and it takes several days to send it out and get it back. Thanks!
@jeffbell39182 ай бұрын
Just learned the 2016 CR-V control module is NOT under the back of the console shown in this video. It's in front of the center console, and all you have to do is remove the two front center panels to get to it. Those panels have two clips in front that need to be removed first, then just snap out and back in. T10 screws in the module are accessible without removing the console. Car runs fine with it unplugged, so it can be sent out to have the eprom cleared and still driven.
