@@YourDoom24 yeah I really enjoyed the campaign, maybe cause I had low expectations I thought it was amazing haha but I also enjoyed all the build choices and the fact that it uses the d20 system with lots of D&D mechanics (albeit adapted differently)

@themagescorner yeah you've got a point there. my expectations were a bit higher, considering i mostly play crpg's and was catching up on the classics around that time (bg1, bg2, icewind dale...). i might give this game another go and revisit it this year and i've got you to thank for reminding me this game existed 😅

I think the fact that was I playing POE2 previously got me in the right mindset for this game haha I just wanted to create a fun build and I enjoyed it!

@@Dwapking not many demons in act 1...also they are only immune to electricity and even that can be overcome with Embers vuln hex

well if you're getting attacked by a lot of creatures you shouldn't have mana issues. on bosses what I do is jade before a big attack (like a slam) and then the mana recoup I get from that gives me some seconds to go all out on sparks. also have 40% mana reduction support on spark and mana font on orb to regen faster.

also I am hoping to get maelstrom mana flask soon, that really helps out too...

@ I just got swarmed right now and died, and not even in a T15. it was T12. I have belt at 61%, better armour and res caps than what you have in the video. shield, 79% block chance with asc nodes. 3k mana. 20% mana recoup on chest piece corruption and 20% from extra node. So I have 100% recoup when damaged. I end up getting smacked hard lose all mana, and die before recoup happens.

It does seem to work occasionally, but it is inconsistent is the problem. If you are swarmed and you happen to hit that 80% block enough early on then you are golden and won't be killable. On the other hand if the first few hits are not blocked, the damage recoup on the mana itself is not fast enough so you take two bad hits and dead.

I mean, turtle charm lets you block slams from bosses, and if you don't block it, that's why you jade right before the attack. So you have 5k+ HP buffer.

@mateushenriquesantos1803 thought about it, but haven't seen a good thorns build yet in terms of damage

but, if you block you don't get hit so...

@ yeah good point, don't know if there is a way to trigger thorns on block, maybe in the future

@@themagescorner The thorns effect trigger when you get hit, even if you block... What I think is you can handle to much hits, so you can use it to apply thorns... but is it, not so special, and I agree with you, there are not great thorns builds... but keep the idea of your build, I like it.

@@themagescorner Well, this was disappointing... It looks like it just doesn't interact at all, neither MoM or mana recoup interact at all with infernal flame

@@themagescorner Yep, infernal flame works as it always does, so it's only good for minions or barrier invocation builds

@alejandronunez7650 1.5k life around 3k mana. Nothing amazing. Which goes to show a better geared person with at least 4k mana (normal for MoM builds) would do even better lol Although I wasn't full on energy shield (which gets converted to mana)..also got some armor going on.

@@themagescorner ah, yeah because bigger/higher numbers/mana pool is more difficult to sustain when you use mana expensive skills + you take dmg.

@alejandronunez7650 yep and thats where jade and blocking all hits w/ mana recoup help a lot...otherwise i wouldnt be able to sustain with 3k mana (which I still believe is on the low side for this build lol)

@TheFavoredOne217 I think for the spark orb of storms part I just followed a guide for stormweaver lol maxroll.gg/poe2/build-guides/archmage-spark-stormweaver-build-guide For the encased in jade I believe I took a support gem to use life instead of mana just so I don't have a situation where I'm low on mana, need time to recoup but can't cast it.

i discover u can have 135% dmg recouped as life in poe 2 and chrono pass the recoup from 8sec to 4sec xD im pretty sure the data is useless but its fun.

yeah it doesn't add chaos resistance...just gives u straight immunity

I believe so! Yeah armor has a problem with big hits, and evasion has the entropy system. Although if anyone knows better, please comment below and correct me lol.

Personally I prefer grim feast than meditate. Eventually you are one shotting things so fast that channeling any skill takes too long.

Dude, did you even watch the video? The boss I showed was from a T16 waystone - the campaign boss was in response to a comment from my Acrobatics video about showing what block does with the lava. If you want to know at the moment of video I had over 50K DPS with ice strike, probably a lot more due to hypothermia and other things going on, and yes I am one shotting everything. Look at my weapon - it is worth at least 5 divine orbs. Also - this video is about showing how u can get 75% block and not sacrifice damage. It is not about showing MAX DPS - in fact, I even feel like I don't even need much more DPS. As for clear speed, I have the chill/shatter ring and everything dies instantly + flicker strike doesn't care about move speed.

@themagescorner Yes i watched your video to see that your so called t16 boss got less than 1M hp where t15 bosses got at least 5M hp, do the same displaying level with Tab, show us a real boss not this crap low tier . You got 75% block but take 50% dmg with your very low hp/es pool you dont survive big hits and you wont avoid them easily without ms or blink, you're not very tanky and sacrified a lot of dps for it despite what you say, you dont have any penetration for example. But you are right, we dont need much dps in this state of endgaming...for now... and it will probably change at release. Try your build in SSFHC and you'll see where it goes, nobody take trade league seriously since you can get items from content you are not able to do on your own, some people even get their ascendancies carried 🤣. This is advice, your editing is good, quality of the content isnt so good since you show the numbers on a good way to see them, not the reality of it. And btw your build is fun, but not cheap and there is ways to be more tanky and doing more dps.

​@@biboulade well I don't know what to say man, I'm doing everything easily in maps with t16 waystones, finished 1 Citadel, the rest is WIP. But the point is, I had around 50Kish DPS with ice strike on a normal invoker build, moved things around, and ended up with the same DPS while carrying 75% block chance. And yes I do have cold penetration, my curse aura also lowers cold resistance. Also if my ES is low (at the time of video) it is more of a gear issue than anything else, doesn't really change anything in the video LOL. Also, the build in trade league is fairly cheap, the boots are pretty easy to find (probably 1 exalt in trade), sure the anointment on amulet is a bit harder. But yeah I imagine in SSFHC it would be a bit harder. Anyways, it's just a build alternative, you don't have to use it. But glad you enjoyed some of it though!

@@themagescorner ignore the haters. it seems for a lot of the the only way to play is the most hyper efficient builds. This is unique and cool. As long as your able to do the content, to me it doesnt matter if it takes 30secs or 5 mins. I'm not in that big of a rush. This is one downside to the poe community. Hyper efficient or "scrub".. personally, I like this idea b/c im trying to mess with a quarterstaff titan, and this gives me ideas for block. I appreciate the video.

@Krustikus my ES was lower in this video cause I switched to evasion only chest. Now it's back to over 5k. Apparently there is also an option of grabbing Glancing Blows using From Nothing Diamond.

@@themagescorner Yes and you lost evade, so you lost armor too and you also loose spirit, and your 5k are doubled, so you got 2K5 in fact.

@@biboulade you don't lose spirit since it's based off evasion + ES. also there are plenty of nodes that are evasion + ES for monk, so I have 2 chest pieces - the ES/evade one just knocks 5% armor off and a tiny bit of evasion while giving much more ES.

@TheDieHard777 yep, but so far only using barrier quarterstaff and/or boots. Increased block nodes do nothing unless u have a base chance already.
