I pretty much was a full-time skater from 1985 to 2000 and most people would’ve agreed with him being a poser back then it wasn’t until lately all of a sudden he’s a legend. At any given time in their prime, Bill Danforth and Tommy Guerrero were amateurs at best

Ah yes, the Era where aggression and style were the dominant traits. Then, it just became more about technicality. No hate - Mullen is my all time favorite. But guys like Danforth,Vallely, and Natas were just pure aggro.

We had a little side street that dead-ended in our neighborhood next to a field. That's where all the skaters hung out and I called it "Dogtown." We had a few launch ramps, and my friends even built a mini half-pipe. Skating was our sub-culture.
