Where's the link for the controller you upgraded to ? I'd like to change mine to a more powerful sensorless controller to eliminate hall sensor issues.

For anyone who wishes to built something similar for themselves, it's important to get the dimensions right. For the balancing to be accurate, the balancer needs to be perfectly level and the axle needs to fit the wheel axle hole snugly. So make sure those two arms are exactly equal lenghts, and the bairings are mounted at the same spot. Once you have made one leg, use it as a template to drill through the pilot holes you made for the bairings, so you copy it down on the other leg.

Had no success with my Triumph 2008 Bonny. With all adjustments perfect, sure the lever is easy to pull but the actuator at the clutch end only moves 14mm now. Without the device it moves 18mm and that extra 4mm is what dis-engages the clutch better for minimum clunking into first and easier changes. Someone will no doubt say my adjustment is wrong but this is what levers do. Easy to move but at the expence of distance.

I have a 2024 DRZ400S that doesn't even have a kickstarter. But I kind of wish it did. It's electric start only.😢

I purchased the Surieen R134A AC Recharge Hose with Gauge and BPV31 Bullet Piercing Tap Valve Kit. I installed the bullet piercing valve with no problem and it is functioning properly. After that I screwed on a new canister of 134a refrigerant to the recharge hose & gauge. I punctured the 134a canister with the screw T-valve. The problem I'm having is that when I open the T-valve to release the refrigerant, no refrigerant will come out of the recharge hose exit end. I then attached the 1/4 to 1/4 Adapter with valve core and still NO refrigerant will exit the recharge hose. I checked to make sure the refrigerant canister has been punctured by unscrewing the T-valve, refrigerant does escape. So I know that is functioning correctly. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thank you

If you put the balancer on a lathe, you will see that the inner cave, where the pin goes, is NOT centered. You must simply regroove the cave and adjust the bubble.

My question is my Infiniti has two engine air filters. I'm missing one because one got damaged and I placed an order on Amazon for the next day. Is it OK to drive? Just maybe 5 miles without a missing air filter in the city, there's not that much dust or debris just typical Chicago city air in the fall. I know it's not good, but I don't have a choice until tomorrow, so I will try to drive for less than 10 minutes. Do you think that's OK and won't do much damage

Add some 1amp active balancer or equalizer. And you can add a wake up button. A momentary switch will do a magic SWITCH SHORT THE P- AND B- from the bms and just press the button for 5seconnds or less everytime your bms will go to sleep

I had a yz250 and it felt great on trails for me only thing its a 2 stroke and vibrates a bit more than a counter balance bike I weigh 200lbs and stock suspension is fine because it’s softer I don’t do no crazy jumps just woods riding and single track also hill climbing and I’m thinking of picking up a new tbi 250sx all e start I believe and u can tweak the suspension for woods riding

I do get where ur coming from tho I had a 2020 crf250f thing just glides in the woods so smooth it was crazy like my Escalade and hill climbing thing went to easy like a billy goat didn’t take me much skills I didn’t like it. I like smooth riding but not boring riding

Thanks for inspiration! Although, I do not understand why the bench needs wooden backstop legs attached? This type of hydraulic lift already has a build in backstop mechanism from metal. The middle layer could be thus omitted.
