Yeah try that folks. Backing a trailer up to a wagon or try backing up a four wheel wagon or both. Farm boys can do it.

To this day they are still a great chore tractor and very rebuildable!..and reliable!..if you have a big operation or even a small one, you are silly not to have one or three of these old IH’s in your fleet because when none of the other new tractors will start, these ones will!..

How would you recommend getting the AC working on a 986 that hasn’t worked in 15 years?

Hello, I have a international 2250 loader similar to yours. I’m trying to put it on international 784 tractor but I do not have the long side mount brackets that go on the side of the tractor. do you know where I could find those? Or do you know how I could get the dimensions of the side brackets and just cut them out of steel?
@PAFarms
@PAFarms Ай бұрын
That’s a tough one. I’m not sure off hand. Most used loaders I see for sale have the brackets. I haven’t really seen the brackets for sale by themselves. As far as dimensions, probably the easiest is to find a tractor that has that loader on it and get measurements from that.

I watched this entire video hoping to see how that hook, that you put on the inside (supposed to be on the outside) works and you never showed it! I have these same style chains that came on the tractor when delivered. They were very hard to take off and nearly impossible to put back on...still working on it!

There are thousands of EMPTY dairy barns because being less than +100 cows is unprofitable. Being raised on a dairy farm and later trying there is way to be profitable. You want to make it a B & B that is possible. The barn you are dealing with will be gone in less than 50 since it has near zero uses for profit and cost to maintain are high.
@PAFarms
@PAFarms 2 ай бұрын
I agree with you on this. The video was from several years ago. The barn was in bad shape and the owner just wasn’t interested in addressing the real problems it had.

You haven't even scratched the surface on the problems of the 86 series tractors. International was in financial trouble during the construction of this series plus the 88 series. After years of spending all my profit on these red tractors, I finally wised up and bought green. The 86 series tractors I just went from one issue to the next. Every year there was always something failing or breaking. Engines, transmissions, radiator, hydraulic system and the list goes on.
